I had been talking to the salesman, Scott M***, for days via email prior to traveling an hour north to their locationI told him I was pre approved by my own bank already but wanted to see what hypothetical numbers they were working with in case They had better rates, Scott told me to fill out a credit app, I advised him for a second time in writing that I did not want to run my credit due to it being already so low his response was "see you Saturday" when all I said I didn't want to hurt my credit again nothing about coming in Saturday yet Should have been the first red flagupon meeting Scott, he informs me he's only been selling cars about a year & a half and is still new to this fieldHe then rushed us into this tiny office only to be handed, you guessed it, a credit applicationThis is now the third time I have asked for my credit not to be ran due to my already pre approval from tapco, Scott proceeds to tell me tapco is in his "cuddle" network and by completing the
Ms. [redacted] indicates in her complaint she wanted to see "what hypothetical numbers they were working with in case they had better rates." In order for us to determine what better rates might be secured for Ms. [redacted], we needed the information she provided on a customer statement....
Without submitting said information, we would not have been able to accomplish Ms. [redacted]'s stated goal of securing a potentially better rate.
