Brooks Fuller Pools & Construction Reviews (3)

First contract was completed.Second contract dated May 8, did not have a completion date. The agreement between MrClient was that pool would begin in March if the pole barn concrete waspoured to be able place plumbing for pool in pole barn.As of March, this was not done and MrClient stated to me the #*#*#*# wife had spent the money, therefore the pole barn would not be ready till June.I continued to work on the pool to do what plumbing I could do, had the deck poured, and formedbottom.Pool krete was then done in pool bottom over the next week, with the heavy rain interfering with thisprocess.Heavy rains continued off and on for several weeks, with this happening, I explained that I couldn't workon the bottom until the weather cleared up and pool bottom dried out.On June 28, l suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized for days.Out of that heart attack I was not to work, due to being scheduled for open heart surgery on July 7.MrClient then had the concrete poured in the pool barn, and I went and did the plumbing in the polebarn before my surgery.I informed them that I was having open heart surgery, on July and the liner was on order and that Ihad made arranged to have it installed when it got here.My open-heart surgery was on July while I was in surgery, ICU, and PCU MrsClient started texting memessages, including that their summer was ruined and they were going to get an attorney.During my hospital stay the weather was excessive rains and the pool bottom came up.In my years' experience, I can say that if MrClient had not put the sump pump in the pool the waterpressure would have not caused the pool bottom to come up.Also during this time, they trashed me on social media. The text messages continued.I then contacted my insurance agent and he stated that I had no liability of this being an act of God.I then let the Client know to contact their insurance agent.Since I had no control over the weather or my heart attack and following open heart surgery, along withweeks of cardiac rehab that I must do, which I hopefully I will start August 14th, I wish to have thissettled.Desired Settlement:The Client still owes me a balance of $5630.00I would like this behind me and would settle for $2815.00.Along with me getting all my tools back that they have locked up.I would give them the liner, and demand a release of contract for this project

I did not see the businesses response until today.  The response was not accurate and many lies involved.  How do we open this back up? Business is saying WE OWE HIM MONEY!!! He did not even complete his work! Left our pool damaged and a mess!! Lied about contacting his insurance agent! I have talked directly to his insurance agent! [redacted] said he did not ever tell him this was an act of God!!!  His coverage lapsed 5/24/17! Therefore, he had no coverage!! His health condition and our pole barn had NOTHING TO DO with the pool not being completed in a timely manor!!!! It should have been done the end of May/beginning of June!!! And if it had been done correctly, his health would not have been a factor!!  He was told he could place the pumps on blocks to get HIS JOB DONE! Excuses and lies are unending! Please let me know what I need to do from here!
