Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSincerely, [redacted]

Review: I purchased a 2006 Chrysler 300c srt8 for 18,000 dollars less then one year ago. I went in to trade it in and was told it has NO working air bags and that the frame was welded. When I purchased it I was told it has never been in an accident.Desired Settlement: I would like everything fixed or a full refund

Response:

Dear [redacted] of The

I just received this letter of complaint -12/12/13 - and am responding immediately. The complainant, [redacted], has made some accusations that are not true or conducive to purchasing a used vehicle in the state of Pennsylvania. I will address each complaint:

First of all, he states he paid $18,000 for the aforementioned vehicle - the actual price was $17,000 and I have enclosed a copy of the MV-4ST that was submitted to the State for processing.

Secondly, he states that the car has no working air bags. As far as the State of PA is concerned with inspecting vehicles, air bags are NOT on the list of inspections for a licensed inspection Mechanic! I also did not and am not responsible for the inspection that was on the vehicle when it was sold to **. [redacted]. The car already was inspected by a licensed inspection mechanic when *I* purchased it, and therefore, I am going by that person's inspection that the car was road ready to sell.

The "welded frame" that **. [redacted] claims that he found out from someone, is in fact, FALSE due to the fact that the vehicle is what is called a "UNIBODY" and there IS no frame!!! How can a frame be welded if there is none to weld? And, if any body part was welded, I would have had no knowledge of that being that the vehicle was already inspected -Dear Cynthia Cameron of The

I just received this letter of complaint -12/12/13 - and am responding immediately. The complainant, Jeremy Tylor Alston, has made some accusations that are not true or conducive to purchasing a used vehicle in the state of Pennsylvania. I will address each complaint:

Alston. The car already was inspected by a licensed inspection mechanic when *1* purchased it, and therefore, I am going by that person's inspection that the car was road ready to sell.

The "welded frame" that **. [redacted] claims that he found out from someone, is in fact, FALSE due to the fact that the vehicle is what is called a "UNIBODY" and there IS no frame!!! How can a frame be welded if there is none to weld? And, if any body part was welded, I would have had no knowledge of that being that the vehicle was already inspected -I am not an inspection mechanic and have no garage or lift. Furthermore, how do I know that **. [redacted] didn't abuse the car and race it, drive erratically, etc. and had to have it repaired by welding it somewhere himself? Also, how am I - or anybody for that matter, to know that HE didn't disconnect the airbags for whatever reason? And, as stated above, airbags do not have to be working or pass inspection in the state of PA. There was also NO airbag light on at the time of purchase. And, am I expected to take his word that some professional person recently checked this car? ! have no proof other than what he's accusing. Aside from that, I don't need proof as the car was inspected and road ready to sell and anything can happen in a year's time! This isn't as if he just purchased the car from me last week, it's been a year.

The title that was generated to him for this sale would've had an "R" on the title - being branded that it was in an accident and there was frame damage. There is no "R" on the title.

I hope that you can resolve this quickly as this is a nuisance complaint and without merit.

Thank you very much and if there are any further questions, please feel free to call me at [redacted] and I will be glad to help you resolve this matter. am not an inspection mechanic and have no garage or lift.
