Review: I Took my vehicle to Brooks Transmission to be repaired. On three different times in a two month I to it back for the same problem which was my transmission component slipping and my engine light being on as a result for this problem. The second time I took my vehicle back it resulted in my driver side mirror being broken. Which at the time it was broken Brook said he would pay to have it fix. I gave him an estimate of the repair and he said he would take care of it. I've call him everyday and left many many messages with his staff as well as on his cell phone to see when he wanted to take care of the situation at hand. He's not returned any of my phone calls for we could resolve this matter about fixing my transmission and or having my mirror fix.Desired Settlement: I would like my transmission fixed correctly the right way I want him to reimburse me for I can take it to another business that will do their job affectively. I also want my mirror fixed as well plus Brooks stated to me he would have it fix.

Review: I contacted & made an appointment at Brooks Transmission in mid to late November to have my transmission checked out to see if it needed repair. After a few days Brooks called me and

confirmed that my transmission needed repairs which would come to about $1,000 to rebuild the transmission. I advised him that I had $500 now and would pay the balance later. He agreed providing that I brought the $500 to him immediately because he had already taken out the transmission. When I got there, Brooks was not around so I dropped the $500 cash off to his employee who gave me a receipt. After a week or so I called him to check the status of the

truck. He did not answer the phone. I called a few more times over a couple of weeks and

still got no answer. I thought that he may had taken a holiday break so I waited until early

January to stop by the shop. It was locked during business hours. Because Brooks had

done work for me in the past on my truck, I did not think that anything was wrong at first.

After several more calls and stops to the shop during his working hours and no one being

there, I knew that something was wrong. One day I caught Mr. [redacted] (owner of the shop)

there. He told me that I should take my truck and transmission (which was laying on a table)

with me because Brooks was not working on it. I made arrangements to get both and take

them to my brother-in-law's towing business. Me and a mechanic friend of mine checked

out the transmission and discovered that the transfer box was missing along with

other pieces (such as bolts) were missing. I made several more attempts to reach

Brooks at Brooks Transmission in case he showed up. The shop had been permanently

locked up.Desired Settlement: Brooks should replace the parts that he sold off of my truck and repair it as agreed.

Review: Brooks transmisson handled the business of repairing my car is a negative way first they took 4 weeks to repair my car them they charged my $200 extra after giving my dad a different quote. I was told their phone was messed up but when my sister when there they said that their phone rang so much they never answered. I contacted the owner numberous times and haven't received a call back and when I finally gotten my car back it was ransacked like someone was looking for something.Desired Settlement: I want a explanation of why it took so long for them to fix my car and a refund for the way it looked inside and out!!!
