I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This was not a call that was to verify my address, which they falsely claim. I received a voice mail which I still have and will keep. They called and left a voice mail stating that since I didn't return their call that I will go by their schedule, to come to my house. First if you are following the guidelines, you don't come to peoples houses. So with that being said. I do not feel they were following the guidelines on that respect. If I could upload the voice mail I would.

for both Ms. and Mr. [redacted]’s convenience. We did place some calls to Mr. [redacted] in an attempt to verify his identity. We are required by federal law to send Mr. [redacted] a letter, and were attempting to verify his identity and ensure we had the correct location to send it. We spoke to Mr. [redacted] only once on September 18, 2015. He indicated he needed to find out more information and would call us back. We received three more calls from a number in Mr. [redacted]’s name, but we never spoke to anyone as the line was always silent. We would like to note that Brookshaw is not a “scam” and we are not sure where Ms. [redacted] obtained that false information. Brookshaw is a legitimate company, registered with the Secretary of State. We wish there was a way to address the false information presumably found on the internet falsely defaming our company. We will treat this complaint as a cease and desist and no further contact will take place to Mr. or Ms. [redacted] regarding this account again, unless they contact Brookshaw directly. Please contact the undersigned if we can be of any additional help in this matter. Sincerely, Danielle T. Brookshaw Management

February, 2015. The last four account digits for the loan are [redacted]. We have attached the verification of debt for Ms. [redacted]’s convenience. As Ms. [redacted] indicates in her complaint, we are required to send a letter to her, which we have attached. We did leave some messages for Ms. [redacted] in an attempt to locate her to verify her address and make sure we are sending the letter to the correct consumer. We did speak with her daughter as well in an attempt to locate Ms. [redacted] and verify her correct information. All skip-tracing efforts and messages left are done so in accordance with federal law. We train our representatives to take great care not to disclose the purpose of the call and not disclose our company name to a third party, unless specifically asked. Once we were able to speak to Ms. [redacted] and identify she was the proper consumer we were looking for, no further calls to Ms. [redacted]’s daughter, or any other third party, took place. We spoke with the representative that handled the account and believe Ms. [redacted] has misconstrued the purpose of our calls, as we were simply trying to locate her to verify her address. Mr. [redacted] indicates in her complaint that we refused to disclose the purpose of our call unless she verified certain information. We would like to note to Ms. [redacted], as we did when we spoke with her on the phone, that we are unable to disclose the information above and the purpose of our call, unless and until we are able to verify we are speaking to the correct consumer. We will treat this complaint as a cease and desist and no further contact will take place to Ms. [redacted] regarding this account again, unless she contacts Brookshaw directly as this account remains unpaid. Please contact the undersigned if we can be of any additional help in this matter. Sincerely, Danielle T. Brookshaw Management LLC
