Our technicians go thru daily and weekly training.We did our first application on March 1, 2017. We work hard at making sure ground and air temperature is conducive for the products to work, that day was perfect. Temperature was 64 degree's, winds at 15, we arrived at 10:49 and left at 11:20.On November 18, 2015 a manager was sent to their home, and left the following information: the  area in front is struggling due to poor soil, tons of moss in the area and looks like needles from shrubs collect there, recommended soil sample, soil corrections than seeding, or fill the area and bring in topsoil, left information on seeding instructions and soil sample.We were at their home on 3/17/15, left information regarding thin areas due to previous note on 11/18/15, and recommended over seeding, leaving information sheets again.5/11/16 we were at their home, color was good, still had thin areas, and left over seeding and information from 11/18/15 again.6/13/16, we were there again to treat, left again over seeding, and suggested a soil sample and moss information again.7/15/16 we treated again, left information on bare areas, need to seed, need soil sample, and suffering from drought stress.9/9/16 we treated, and left information about over seeding, drought stress and dog damage. This was final application for 2016. 12/22/16, during call ahead, Mrs. said not sure renewing, we told her we will be mailing welcome back letter, holiday letter and prepay, she can call us and let us know, that would be a reminder.ALL OUR invoices, statements, newsletters, estimates, absolutely everything clearly states services roll over unless you contact us.3/1/17 we did their first service, and left information still have bare spots and dog damage, and left information sheets.They called and canceled on 3/1/17 AFTER service was performed. We called, 3/4/17, 3/7/17, 3/10/17 and then 3/11/17 and they never returned the call. We honored their request and canceled.4/17/17 we received a call at 1:02, asking to send a manager out, we called back that very same day at 4:07 asking they call back. Customer never returned our call, we could not send a manager until we new what it was in regards to.I received the Revdex.com letter on 5/8/17. I called today at 11:00, telling them l was sending a manager, there were issues all 2016 that we left information, feel free to call.I sent two managers out who arrived at their home TODAY, did not go in gate, they have thin and bare spots which we have addressed each time we were there, huge tree in front heavily shaded area, needs shade area seed and soil correction , has bare spots, same as we recommended in past, middle of yard, all edges heavy shade struggling, need soil sample, soil correction, overseed, some dog damage, left note again, also need shade mix and moss issues. Cody and Phillip two of our managers, at their home approximately 10:45 home, dog in house barking, could see everything. Left note for the customer.As a good will gesture, the account was previously canceled and I have zeroed out their balance leaving them a current balance of zero. 8/16/17 Attention:  [redacted] Regarding Revdex.com ID [redacted])                                 [redacted]  ...

[redacted]   We received your letter and reviewed the customer account.    Nobody here is paid commission or by the amount of work they do, so it benefits no employee to continue service without the customer’s  authorization.   We explained that to Mrs. [redacted] on 7/12/17 and also sent copies of all our literature to show we are honest and up front, almost to a fault, there are no hidden facts.   ALL of our invoices left their home, clearly states service continues unless they call. A statement sent first of each month, clearly states our service continues unless they call. They received a newsletter with each application that clearly states, service continues unless they call. We mail a holiday Newsletter that states clearly, service continues unless they call. We mail a prepay letter which clearly states, the service will continue, unless they call. We send a welcome back letter which clearly states, the service will continue unless they call. We were actually at their home with a welcome back letter and a bag of candy, which we left on 1/11/17 because they were not at home. We treated their yard on 4/28/17.  They called our office 4:09 and we treated their yard at 9:17 a.m. We discontinued their services at their request on 4/28/17 upon their request and sent letter to confirm we discontinued the services. I wanted to take a moment to share the Brookside view. In an interest of good will, we have removed the charge and brought their balance to zero.  We are in the Lawn CARE business and we sincerely care.        A letter was sent to the [redacted]’s with zero balance.  Best Regards,    Melinda [redacted]    Manager

We have serviced her lawn numerous times including several free service calls.Their thatch is excessive which they told us themselves, prior to sending our representative to their home with out recommendations. It was...

short of impossible to pull the amount of plugs during aeration due to heavy thatch. We sent a manager out several time and let them know when we get some significant rain we would be there to redo at no charge. We attempted on several occasions to do that, and were unable to and communicated that with them, the last time on 9/20/16. We advised on that date, we would continue to watch weather and rain and return at no charge. We continued to keep the customer informed.They called and said please do not do at no charge and return our money. We are in the Lawn CARE business, we give service and we care about our customers and the services we provide.As a good will gesture, we issued a credit and refund for the aeration of $88.07 and tax of $5.57, and removed the $2.00 interest charge.
