Review: I joined the Brookside Swim and Tennis club in the summer of 2006. I cancelled the membership at the end of the season when I moved into Philadelphia from [redacted], PA. I was told I was placed on a list to receive the refund of the bond paid. I have repeatedly tried to contact Brookside by telephone and e-mail and have not received a call or return e-mail. Can you help?Below is the e-mail received concerning the refund:On Jun 24, 2013, at 12:17 AM, "[redacted]" [email protected] wrote:Hi [redacted], Thank you for inquiring into your bond. The records I inherited, in January, from the previous Brookside Registrar indicate that you resigned on January 30, 2007. The records also indicate that you are number 38 on the resignation list and that correspondence should be addressed to [redacted], PA [redacted]. My current focus is to ensure all current members have fully paid bonds. Later in the summer my focus will turn to paying out the bonds owed to those on the top of the list. The next bond holders to be paid back resigned in 2006. You are on this list as number 38. The good news is that this year we have collected more bond monies than in the past few years. Hence it should not be much longer now until you are reimbursed. We appreciate your patiences in this matter and hope you can be patient a little longer as I get familiar with my new volunteer role as Registrar of Brookside Swim and Tennis Club.
