Review: I have left numerous messages with this company's "Answering Service" which is the only entity you are able to reach via phone or e-mail over the last several days. I have yet to receive a call back. Customer Service is questionable at best.Desired Settlement: I need to receive a call back from this company's accounting department ASAP. Preferably today. Payment that is required by them has not been taken under the automatic payment agreement that I have with them.

Review: **about 3 years ago I ask and paid for this law firm to handle a problem I was having with [redacted] Bank formally [redacted] or a piece of property. the case involved predatory Lone the details would be hard to go into here. Brookstone Law took my money used it to finance a suit against B[redacted] when the first rulling came against them they talked me in to a individual case against [redacted] at a cost of $3000.00 and $650.00 they used that money to fund there appeal with b[redacted] not once dealing with [redacted] at first they would answer e-mails with we are handling it then that stopped I went to the office is signed the papers and they were gone they have an answering service they might have an office at 80 brood street New York city, New York they took a lot of money from me I don't know what can be done Whould like to here from themDesired Settlement: finish the Job or refund all my money I should not have to pay for there suit with b[redacted]

Review: I filed a case with them a year ago and to this day I have not received one report about the case. I have called to find out whats going on and have not gotten a response. I then later called to ask for them to stop of my account taking money out and the secretary said she would redirect me to whom was in charge with that, but she hung up instead. All I initially wanted is to stop taking money from me, but now I would also like my money back. This is nothing but a fraudulent law firm full of crooks!Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

What I would like is for them is for them to stop taking money from my account and a full refund.

Review: In October of 2012 my husband and I visited Brookstone Law and paid $1,250 for them to review our home mortgage loan. We were told that there were multiple problems with our loan and we could be included in a class action litigation against our bank. We agreed to pay 3 payments of $1000 over the next 3 months to be part of this case and then $250 per month for one year for our case to be active. In Dec we got a phone call and were told that in order for our case to go to court we need to make 2 payment of 1000 in December before the beginning of 2013 to be part of this case. I agreed and made the payment through my credit card. After that I have been calling Brookstone Law every month to check the status of our case. I have been reassured that we are part of the case and that is going to court in June. In June I called they told me that something has changed and I will receive a letter explaining the situation so I can make a decision about my next step. The letter never came. I drove to Newport Beach where I went initially and found out that this company has moved without letting me know about it. My case was never part of the litigation, my lawyer no longer worked for the company and the person who signed us up was on sick leave. I got so frustrated and demanded my money back. So far almost $8000 have been paid for nothing. I have been lied to by the receptionists. They stopped answering my phone calls. If I called with a blocked number they would pick up and transfer me to leave massages that were never returned. I sent multiple emails without answers also. My new lawyer also left the company. I don't know how to get my money back. They are being very unprofessional. Obviously my case was neglected and nothing was done for it therefore I want my hard earned money back.Desired Settlement: I want my $ 8000 dollars back.

Review: I paid Brookstone Law $6,000 in early 2013 to be part of a Law Suit against B of A for predatory lending practices. Since 2013 Brookstone law filed two cases at the [redacted] Superior Court and both cases have been dismissed. I have been trying to contact the law offices since January 2015 to get an update on the cases and have not heard from them. I visited their offices on [redacted] and they are no longer there. I visited the [redacted] location and it is empty as well. I have left message after message with their answering service for a call back and nothing. They should have the professionalism to get back to their clients such as myself that now feels I have been taken advantage of by the banks they are supposed to be defending me from as well as by them.Desired Settlement: Either resolve the case or reimburse me for the $6,000.
