After our home was broken into our insurance company provided Brookstone Restoration Our initial meeting went well, we felt that we were being taken care of after such an emotionally difficult experience The rep was wonderful and asked what I wanted most from Brookstone Restoration My response was I wanted the work done and done well That was the end of the helpful restoration After that initial welcome, things went downhill and by the end I felt victimized again I am an understanding individual, and am ok with the fact that desired patterns were not available, and things can happen during any job, but the amount of issues and the lack of professionalism by the staff was ludicrousFirst the wrong size door was orderedBrookstone measured the door yet when the door was delivered, it did not fit Since we were dealing with a break in the door was needed quickly to secure our home Multiple issues continued: Scheduling conflicts, employee absences, forgetting to tack down quarter round, scuffing the walls, hooking up the washer and dryer wrong, forgetting to hook up the dishwasher, getting glue on cabinets/marble countertops, forgetting to paint certain areas, bubbles in the flooring, failing to hook up the water line to the fridge, and with each issue, attempts to reach the project manager were daunting We called our insurance company and informed them of all the issues we faced with Brookstone One area which was done well was a refab of a cabinet doorBrookstone took the door to an outside craftsmanWhoever did this work is a master woodworker The damaged area was repaired well and looks great If you are into frustration and drama, hire this company If you value your sanity, look elsewhereBuyer beware

It was my intention to let the large company that started the job for me finishWhen phase was complete they told me it would be some time before they could start and finish phase I asked if it would be a week, no guarantees I was toldWhat about weeks, they could not say for sureWell I asked what about a month, can you guarantee that? No they could not!
All my kitchen cabinets were removed in phasealong with my kitchen sink resulting in no water in the kitchen and only partial electricityAdditionally much painting and some carpentry was required
Getting no satisfaction from the original contractor including them not returning phone calls I turned to BROOKSTONE RESTORATION in which I had no prior dealingsOne of the owners responded to my house the next day, measured the job gave me a definite start date which was a few days later and finished the job on the day I was told it would be completedThe job was done by PROFESSIONAL people, courteous, and COMPETENT and to my TOTAL SATISFACTION

We had a great experience with Brookstone They were very helpful Ryan was our project manager and kept us informed I would defiantly use them again They were referred to us through USAA insurance when we had water damage to both our bathroom Very helpful Everyone who worked with us very nice and polite They were very careful with our floors and covered them when the bathrooms were torn out
