Review: I purchased a vehicle and it had not been inspected. When I requested for them to inspect the vehicle I was told Maryland inspection would not be any good in VA dont worry the vehicle would pass inspection with no problem its nothing wrong with the car. When I went to get the vehicle inspected in Virginia it would not pass because of a faulty wiring harness. When I requested to be reimbursed they refused.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed $651.17, the total amount it cost to fix the problem.

Brookville Auto is a company that strives in being very honest and upfront with our customers. We have received [redacted]'s complaint with ID [redacted]. It has been brought to our attention that **. [redacted] is unsatisfied became his vehicle did not pass the Virginia Inspection.

At the time of sale, the vehicle did not have any warning lights on. We had. no reason to feel the vehicle would not have been able to pass inspection. The Mercedes Benz S600 was examined by the Mercedes Benz dealerships as well as our own mechanics. **. [redacted] told us, the vehicle failed inspection because a license plate bulb was out.

Furthermore, **. [redacted] never gave us an opportunity to examine the vehicle. We were not made aware of the cost until he authorized an unknown company to perform the repairs. We asked him to bring the vehicle to our location, so we could examine the vehicle ourselves and he denied our request. Unfortunately, we will not reimbursed **. [redacted] because he performed repairs without our knowledge.
