[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I am not satisfied with either offerI reject the claim that any CAD dawings of the design were ever sharedI provided the original picture and specifications of the ring and that is the only design I ever agreed toSecondly, there are NO signs posted regarding a "No Refund Policy", nor was I ever informed, at either time that I made a deposit, that a refund would not granted if I was dissatisfied with the finished productHad I been informed of this restriction, I would have patronized elsewhereI refuse to accept a piece that I AM NOT PLEASED with it and I do not wish to work with them on correcting the piece, given that I have no longer have any confidence in their abilityI also do not agree with paying $for labor AND matierials given that they will retain possession of the ring and can recoup the matierials cost thru a sale to another customerI will however; agree to pay $for labor but, request a refund of $ I also strongly recommend that signage be posted throughout the shop notifying potential customers of the strict No Refund Policy Regards, [redacted] ***

I write to confirm that I received your letter dated March, 2015, regarding *** ***’s complaint*** *** came into my store on January 12, 2015 with a picture of a ring that she wantedWe showed her a Sapphire stone which she liked/pickedThe carat of the Sapphire is along with it being ctyellow goldWe agreed on a price of $1,750. We advised her we would make the ring as close to what she wantsI sent her a few pictures from my CAD program that she approved (I have attached the e-mail for verification/approval)She came in to look at the final product and she said it didn’t look the same as the pictureBecause she was unhappy, I was willing to make it over again for herAdditionally, I put bigger weighted diamonds for the same priceI gave her the ring to take to another Jeweler since she did not believe that we used the correct amount of diamond total weightAt this point, we did double the work for the same priceI have taken all proper precautions to satisfy herI have been in business for over years and never had a problem or complaintIf the individual is not happy with my product, I am always willing to fix itWe do not take any returns for custom made piecesI have also attached email threads of our conversations, I'm sure you will see we have done our best to accommodate this young lady.
Furthermore, I would like to settle this matter amicablyThe options I can suggest are:
1.) To reimburse me for the labor + gold + diamond for $1,100; OR
2.) We can give her the ring we made for her (even though she has an outstanding balance of $250.00)If you have any questions feel free to contact meThank you.--

I will not assume responsibilty for any fraction of the cost for the design and creation of the 2nd ringMy initial request was for one ringA second ring was created, not at my request, but because the jeweler recognized that the first ring was not designed to the exact specifications that I initially providedThe fact that the ring was not designed as specified the first time and had to be remade is the onus of the businessPer the business, the labor for two rings is $I agree to pay $in labor costs for one ring and request a refund in the amount of $With this option, I refuse to delete my review posted to an online review site; however, I will amend the response to include a statement that recognizes that the business has worked to address my concernsI will only delete the review if a FULL refund of $is issuedI would like to reiterate that there were NO signs posted regarding a "No Refund Policy", nor was I ever informed, at either time that I made a deposit, that a refund would not granted if I was dissatisfied with the finished productHad I been informed of this restriction, I would have patronized elsewhere, therefore I strongly recommend that signage be posted disclosing the No Refund Policy to customers
