On February 18, 2016; Mr*** *** came to Brothers Auto Glass to get a windshield replacement on a *** ***The price agreed to pay for that service was $USDBefore we performed our service, we showed the glass that we were going to use to make sure he
was fine with that productRight after that, he seemed concern about the brand and quality of the glass; so we gave him another estimate using a better brand of glassHe finally decided to use the regular windshield in order to save money.It is also important to highlight that before the replacement was done Mr*** asked us about if the rust under the windshield on his car would affect the replacementWe told him that he needed to fix the rust damage before getting the windshield replacement; and a body shop could fix it and match the paint of his vehicleHowever, we told him we also could only remove the excess of rust on his car without painting his vehicle for $and he we agreed with thatproposal. He also asked for a quote for window tinting on the two front doorsWe provided him the quote for $and he agreed to pay that for the service.We performed the windshield replacement, the rust removal and the window tinting on the front doorsWe finally called him so he could pick up his vehicle from our shopAs soon as Mr*** came to our shop he started to inspect his vehicle and the services that we did for him.First, he took a look of the windshield he noticed that the primer that we put on the car was not in a perfect line so he asked us if we could fix itAnd we did soWe made the line of primer evenand put gray paint on his car so he could be happy with the service. After this situation Mr*** started to take a look of the window tintingHe did not like to see the water that was still laying on the windows because the tint was just freshWe explained him the reason was because the film was just put and eventually that water would disappear in approximately three daysWe also told him that if he wanted we could re-installed the film for him or we could take the film off and give him his money backHe decided to get his money backTherefore, we proceed to remove the tint from his carAnd return his money.After his departure, he sent us text messages in regards to some speakers that we supposedly damage on his carWe told him that we could not help him via text message but he was welcome to come back to shop and show us the suppose damageWeeks passed by and we did not hear anything from him.It is also important to highlight in order to perform the window tinting we did not remove any panels from the doorThe tint was installed with the door glasses upTherefore we did not remove any panels or accessories from the vehicle.During my years in the business I have always assumed my responsibility when it comes to damage to my customers’ vehiclesMy number one goal is customer satisfaction, but in this case is obvious that we did not damage any speakers or equipment or any kindTherefore, I doubt about Mr*** statements.Finally, I just want to clarify that we did the best that we could to make Mr***happy with our services, we fixed our mistakes in regards with our servicesHowever, he never came back to the shop and talked with us about the uncertain damage of the speakersWithout any other concern to clarify I thank you for your time and hope everything is explained nowIf you have further questions about this case please do not hesitate to call me at any time.Sincerely,*** ***Owner of Brothers Auto Glass
