According to General Manager Tim P [redacted] this customer was advised to take the vehicle to the closest [redacted] Auto Care Store for inspection and written documentation of the findingsAt this time the customer has provided only information from a [redacted] transmission repair shop that was not a *** Auto Care center that was requested by Brothers AutomotiveAdditionally the complainant has taken to public disparaging of my company with unjust statements of opinion not factsWhen complainant brought their dated Pontiac montana into our shop Brothers Automotive advised AGAINST any repairs to the vehicle due to age and mileage of the vehicle corresponding to its Actual Cash ValueThe complaintant was further advised when older vehicles are disassembled that plastic and old parts can break including subsequent issue with old dry wiring, plugs and fittingsBrothers properly advised the customer of collateral damage due to age and mileageFurther more the customer still opted to attempt repairs to mini vanThe job the customer contracted Brothers to perform was performed and completed as agreed using industry standardsThe complaint of internal dash issues are subject to age and mileage as well of vast temperature exposer over the many years of its life cycleThe many comments made in this customer are undocumented and opinion based at this timeThe coolant leak issue at last contact indicated a failure in a steel coolant tube that Brothers Automotive did not replaceHowever the vehicle traveled from Columbus Ohio to Texas as I understand reveals the leak may have easily presented itself after leaving our repair facilityOnce again other cooling system parts that were not changed are subject to failureIn retrospect Brothers Automotive may consider or agreed to a settlement regarding the coolant tube failure up till the complainant begin the disparaging comments against my company at multiple media sourcesThe fact is brothers did not replace the failed coolant tube because at time of repair it appeared satisfactoryHad the tube not passed the inspection the customer would have paid additional fees for said partThe failure of this component does not provide for free labor or new partsUnder the circumstances the customer will need to remove/retract all complaints down to this single venue (Revdex.com) for us to move forwardDisparaging my company from multi sources then request a settlement with not be an acceptable practiceWe will be happy to work with this customer on fair practices and termsThe warranty of the repairs made by Brothers Automotive are outlined in the attachment providedIf this customer wishes to work in good faith we will be happy to discuss compensation in regards to the appropriately documented concerns by a NAPA AUTO CARE facility with their findings either emailed or faxed as requested to : [redacted] or Fax ###-###-#### Best Wishes, Jack G J***
