Brothers Construction did an amazing job on my roof. Laura was there every step of the way and was more then willing to go out of her way from start to finish. I didn't have to come out of pocket even when more damages were found. They replaced it and handled it with my insurance. I could not be happier highly recommend!

Brothers Construction just finished re-roofing our home in Albuquerque and we can't say enough positive things about them. They are great! The owner was extremely friendly, honest and responsive and his team was very professional. They did an excellent job on both the roof and the cleanup afterward, going above and beyond expectations. I would highly recommend them....these guys are the real deal.

Brothers Const. was contracted to lay a new roof. Roof was not laid correctly, air-conditioner was not replaced correctly, wiring for air-conditioner was not re-connected correctly and air-conditioner does not work correctly. My roof leaks, and the leak was over a leather double recliner, the stitching tore. Shingles have already lifted due to winds. I have shingles hanging down inside a sky-light. Old materials were used to replace roof vents (a roofing company that I had come and give an estimate, showed me the hail damage on the "new" vents that were installed by Brothers Construction) roof vents were placed in incorrect location on roof. Penetrations were not sealed with correct material. Shingles are buckled. Roof decking not replaced/repaired as promised. Many nails are visible, this will result in the movement of the nails. Several shingles are torn. They used "old" factory second shingles. The plastic safety strip that is to be removed to expose the adhesive will not come off; this is due to aging in heat. I have had two insurance adjusters and two independent roofing companies come and access the roof. They said shingles need to be removed, the decking needs to be replaced. Roofing materials as designated in the contract should be used; Non-used penetrations removed and sealed, active penetrations sealed properly, air-conditioner re-installed correctly and tested for proper operation. Nails should not be exposed, shingles were not nailed properly. Sky-lights removed and installed correctly. Not once did any person from Brothers construction arrived at the jobsite at a time I was advised. They told me they would arrive at 07:00; they would show up (one person!) 11:00. Onle once did Adam*** return a call, he arrived late. Always an excuse. The newest "job lead" said he would show up between 13:00 and 17:00 on past Friday. I called him, he came at 08:30 Sat. morning.
I have lost wages, to the effect of $*** dollars waiting for the company to come do work. I called to advise them of the leak in the ceiling, the woman that answered said she was in ***, she could have someone come out next Tuesday. That never happened. I have given them two months to resovle the issues, I have tried to work this out, they have not put any effort forward.

Dear ***. Thank you for your message. As we have discussed before, we will agree to disagree on many of your comments. While the project was not without a problem here or there, Brothers Construction has made and is willing to make repairs to your roof. Adam *** met with you on 9/11/19 and you were able to show him what you were displeased and unhappy with about the roof. Then on at least 2 occasions in September, you sent our crew away. The first time, because the crew did not notify you before they arrived to do the repairs. The second time was on our scheduled appointment on 9/24/19, you sent the owner a message that you “do not want any *** speaking people on your property” and you asked them to leave. Additionally, our phone records indicate that Adam *** has returned and made multiple calls to you. I can assure you that old material was not used for your installation and we have receipts for all material that was purchased and delivered. The roof decking was not a covered loss by your insurance company. Once we removed the old roof and took photos of the decking, it was determined that it did not need to be replaced. Had it been replaced, this would have been an out of pocket cost to you, the customer. Adam *** is a HAAG certified roof inspector of residential and commercial roofs. He is one of only two others in the state of New Mexico with this certification. We have over 30 years of roofing experience, hundreds of completed roof installations with hundreds of happy customers. I am sorry that you feel that we have not put forth effort to resolve the issues but we entirely disagree. Brothers Construction has spent thousands of dollars on this project and you have not paid a penny. As we have suggested before, we recommend mediation to resolve this conflict. Thank you.

Adam

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: I was told they would "forget the entire thing" if I were to retract all negative statements I have made concerning Brothers construction. The most recent correspondence was "I agree to disagree" and we should go to mediation.

I have suffered breathing problems and severe headaches since Brothers Construction worked on the roof. I discovered the exhaust flue for the gas hot water heater and the gas furnace. Both devices are located within 10 feet of the master bedroom, were “dislocated” and the CO2 was vented into the house. My 16 year old daughter has been suffering headaches. I did not have CO2 detectors installed (I do now). We could have died from CO2 poisoning. (I have pictures of flues)

I corrected this problem when discovered.

Adam *** and I have met several times to discuss the deficiencies. It has been months since the re-roofing. There has been no sense of urgency on their part. When I discovered the rain leak in the living room, I called the phone number. I connected with a woman that informed me she was in Mexico and they had no one to come make repairs until next week.

I have contacted several other roofing companies and received estimates. $*** to $***.

I have no clear estimate of the monies possibly lost because I can not sell the house in this condition and the market has taken a down-turn. My double leather recliner is ruined from the leak in the living room ceiling. All my time lost waiting for people to show up at the house.

Real estate people originally stated market value was $***. Now value has dropped to $***.

I desire to be given the insurance monies so I may contract a different roofing company to do the roof correctly. No more talk, no more emails. I need to get this roof completed and not by Brothers Construction.

I hired Brothers Construction to install a metal roof due to hail damage. The roofers started the job on Tuesday, 6/4. I had told Adam that I needed the roofers to be on time and complete the project as soon as possible because I had to make arrangements for my dogs to stay elsewhere during the day when the roofers were there. He told me the job would be completed in 2-3 days - no problem. I arrived home on Day 1 to cars and trucks parked up and down the street and many people on the roof. On Day 2, I arrived home to find the workers playing extremely loud music. I asked them to turn it down and also let Adam know about it. After Day 3, it didn't seem like much progress was being made so I contacted Adam and was assured that the job would be done by end of day on Day 4 - a Friday. It was not. The crew left without a word to me, along with a mess of supplies, materials, nails, screws, and trash in my front and back yard. On Saturday a guy who I hadn't seen before showed up about mid-morning to work on the patio. He left after a few hours and didn't say a word. On Sunday, I drove up to my house to find a guy in my back yard working on the shed. I was never told that anyone was coming on Sunday and my gate was locked so he had to have jumped the gate which I did not appreciate. There was a total lack of communication with Adam. On the day he came to collect payment I made it very clear that I was not happy at all about the length of time and mess left behind. I told him I was still finding screws and nails and that my dogs or a person could very well step on them. He said he'd swing by with the metal detector, but I continue finding screws and nails. Adam apologized and said he had no excuse for what happened and that he took full responsibility and that he needed to change some things. I do not know if Brothers Construction has a regular roofing crew, but it sure does not seem like it. Adam said he'd give me a discount and when all was said and done he gave me a $750 discount off a $12,000 job which I feel does not adequately compensate me for what I had to endure. Luckily, neither my dogs nor a person have been injured due to the nails and screws that I continue finding in my yard. If someone does get injured I will definitely be submitting the medical bills to Brothers Construction for payment. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor.

I am very happy with the job that Brothers Construction did on my roof. They are very nice, friendly people, and their employees are hard workers, quick, efficient, and neat!!They kept the yard picked up the whole time. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I give them 5 stars!!

We had our roof replaced. Brothers did the work. All seemed well until the evening after repair. Suddenly, our A/C was not cooling, it seemed odd as everything worked perfectly the years prior. We had a technician come out and they identified a roofing nail punctured the copper refrigerant line. At first the company was responsive and concerned saying they would make it right. The CEO Mr G even came by for a visit, he insisted the contract eliminated them from liability but he'd try to be fair and make it right. He offered to sustain the warranty in spite of some roof changes being made installing a new refrigerant line. He advised me he would be out of town a few days but to contact him personally when I have final invoice for repair. After paying 1600+ tax for a new refrigerant line and recharge due to their work on my roof, I made several attempts to call, text, and email Mr G to work something fair out but I have gotten no response. My complaint is regarding three things. There was no member of the company that physically inspected my attic space to determine location of plumbing, electrical lines or the like. Mr G referenced the contract point that states they are not liable for "Acts of God". This whole mess was avoidable had they actually been more attentive to detail, an attic pre-inspection seems like a practical standard to avoid issues like mine. Mr G also indicated he added this clause to the contract because it happened once before and the company was liable. Second, the representative that assisted me in the roof replacement asked me about the existing satellite dish the day prior to roof install. I advised him to remove the dish and leave it on the sideyard because I didn't want holes in my new roof. This was not done, they reinstalled the dish against my wishes. Finally, the lack of follow through by Mr G is just poor service. My agent has contacted the company too and still no contact to mediate this costly misfortune due to the companies lack of attention to detail.

Contacted Borthers Construction due to roof issues. They came did the work and it all seemed fine. Then we noticed they left nails all around the house causing our cars to get flat tires, they never came and picked up after themselves. Then I checked the roof and they seem to have left the swamp cooler unsecured and not bolted down til this point I’ve tried contacting them for a while now and wouldn’t answer my calls. Now there’s wood falling off the the edges of the roof due to the kind of nails they used plastic, plastic trims were also damaged.

I had hail damage and needed a roof. Brothers Construction got that done with days of signing the contract in November 2018. However, the contractor began work 10 weeks ago to repair drywall on ceiling due to rain damage. 2 areas totaling less than 20 square feet in two separate rooms. First worker (Robert) left the job sub par including some mud and paint mess left outside in various areas (and somehow painted the dog). We had scheduled & been stood up 7 times with that employee, at this point I told the manager (Jackie) that we are done with him and to please send a different employee. After many calls (most left unanswered) we scheduled another worker (James) to complete the job on January 29th. Appointment at 9:30 and he showed up at noon, looked at it and left. Scheduled another appointment on 1/31 for 9am. After several calls another employee (Aaron) showed at 12:15, refinished the interior work and cleaned up the paint and mess outside. I spoke to the owner Jesse who offered $300 and his sincerest apologies on this day. He and I spoke 5 times this day and he assured me they would complete the work, they didn't. February 2nd, now the 12th scheduled appointment, James painted the wrong color and blamed me, the owner. On February 4th they asked my son in law for money to paint as they were already out $40. February 5th, asked me to buy the paint. I called the manager again, another voicemail (probably the 20th thus far). Again no response. Another owner Adam got involved by February 8th and came on the 10th to take another paint sample to be made. Scheduled work for 9:30 am on 2/18, at 10:30 after another no show I got a call stating they would go paint at 1:30. I got a phone call at 1:28 that they were running late and that he would call me back. 4 pm 2/18 I left the last message, I will not call them ever again.
SO 10 weeks, dozens of unanswered and non returned calls, 15 scheduled appointments, and 7 no call/no show.
This is an insurance job on contract, so no monetary payments are made to me to get another contractor.
I am a disabled man that has to schedule each visit with the contractor as this is not my residence, each delay takes a significant toll on me.
FIND ANOTHER CONTRACTOR.

Thank you!

Hired contractor to replace roof. Contract states three days for completion, after numerous attempts to reach them and get the job finished and the damages they created rectified I texted the owner the evening of day 11 to tell him I was finding another contractor to finish the job. On the main home roof they finished the shingles but did not replace the flashing just nailed down the existing. On our patio cover they were to install TPO as it has very little pitch. They did not install correctly and it peeled up with the first breeze. While installing the shingles on the main roof they broke the support leg off the air conditioning unit and caused the water line to leak into the room below which caused the ceiling to cave in. The office was told when they called to let us know work was beginning that the driveway and north side of the house would be left clear for access and to remove the shingles. Instead they trampled plants and solar lights at the front south side of the house and broke a statue in the flower bed. We tried numerous times to reach out to the owner and the salesman to get this resolved but I no longer trust them to finish the job to code.

Dear Ms. of the Revdex.com,I was able to speak to the owner, Jesse G, regarding this dispute. Mr. G says that all work was completed as outlined in the insurance claim. When the customer reported a leak after the install the roofers were sent back out to repair. The leak was not a result of incorrect install but rather from the property owners evaporative cooler and the copper lines on the cooler that caused the leak. This was repaired for the homeowner at no additional charge to the homeowner. Additionally, Brothers Construction paid Mrs. $100 to compensate for the personal property damaged (ie plants and statue)Additionally, it should be noted that we feel we have gone above and beyond to please this customer. When the homeowner, Mrs., called and requested that Mr. G "please take a case of adult beverages and pork rinds to Mr. since you are on your way to the house already", Mr G did so. We feel the customer is making every attempt to not pay their invoice and we will be forwarding this complaint and file to our attorney for collection.thank you!Sincerely,Alison GFinance Manager

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:they did not complete the installation as stated. We had to hire another contractor to finish the work and add missing trim.

The damage to the ceiling in the bedroom below the air conditioner unit was caused when the broke the coupling on the water line and tore the support leg off the unit. They never bothered to tell us they had damaged the ac unit so we had no idea it needed repairs until the ceiling fell in.

Jesse G came to our home to speak with us about this issue, the damage to our landscape, the missing trim, the fact that the back porch had not even begun to be installed, the damage to our deer statue and the fact that the workers had left all the nails scattered throughout the entire yard which caused two flat tires on our vehicles.

He assured us they would be out the next morning to fix the ceiling in our bedroom and clean all the mess so that a carpet cleaning company could clean the carpet in the room. As they were supposed to be at our home at 10 am my daughter came to the house to meet them. When the crew had still not arrived or called by noon she left to get kids from school. I tried calling and texting Pablo and Jesse but didn’t get a response for two days.

When the crew finally showed up to repair the ceiling they ended up pulling even more of the insulation down and trampling it into the still wet carpeting and left the job half done. They were supposed to return the next day to finish but were no shows yet again. I made more attempts to contact Pablo and Jesse with no success.

They finally worked on the patio cover but it was not properly installed and the corner lifted with the first breeze we had as they didn’t adhere and seal it properly.

As I stated in the original complaint they breached their contract by not having the work completed in the three days agreed on and they never paid me a dime for the damage they caused to our property. When they billed us it was for the entire amount of the insurance check, and they didn’t show any credit for the damages to our property.

I have receipts for the repair to the patio roof and the flashing they never installed, a price to replace the statue, the bill for the carpet cleaning and for the can of paint I bought for the bedroom ceiling. I will be happy to get a cost on having insulation blown into the ceiling also and I can provide pictures showing the damage and the amount of nails my husband and I spent a couple of evenings picking up from our yard as I still have them for proof.

I was more than willing to try to resolve these issues directly with Jesse, but he made many promises to do right by us with no follow through. I can show you my phone bill with the highlighted calls and copies of the texts that were sent trying to get direct resolution.

Regards,
