Review: I purchased a brand new 2012 Harley Davidson Sportster in April 2013. A few months ago I decided to paint my bike which required me to dismantle the bike. Once I put the bike back together it would not start. I was unaware that the security system was disabled as a result. I contacted Harley with the issue requesting the security code to the bike THAT I MAKE SIGNIFICANT PAYMENTS ON A MONTH, and THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE CODE. They continued to inform me that in order to gain access to my own bike I would need to purchase a whole new security system from them. So now I have a bike that does not run and the company I purchased it from is only willing to help me if I purchase a whole new system simply because I disabled the code.Desired Settlement: I am currently responsible for monthly payments on a bike that does not run simply because the company I purchased it from refuses to give the security code to a bike. The matter can be resolved by releasing the code to the bike I currently have in my name and currently pay for. Brothers Harley Davidson needs to improve their customer service and provide assistance to their customers rather than berate them. Their motives are fueled by greed rather than service.
