We are willing to take compromise with the two rings made, we are willing to accept $850.00 for our labor and to remove the review she has placed on the internet about our business. I am rejecting this response because:
I am not satisfied with either offer. I reject the claim that any CAD dawings of the design were ever shared. I provided the original picture and specifications of the ring and that is the only design I ever agreed to. Secondly, there are NO signs posted regarding a "No Refund Policy", nor was I ever informed, at either time that I made a deposit, that a refund would not granted if I was dissatisfied with the finished product. Had I been informed of this restriction, I would have patronized elsewhere.
I refuse to accept a piece that I AM NOT PLEASED with it and I do not wish to work with them on correcting the piece, given that I have no longer have any confidence in their ability. I also do not agree with paying $1100 for labor AND matierials given that they will retain possession of the ring and can recoup the matierials cost thru a sale to another customer. I will however; agree to pay $500 for labor but, request a refund of $1000.
I also strongly recommend that signage be posted throughout the shop notifying potential customers of the strict No Refund Policy.

I write to confirm that I received your letter dated March, 4 2015, regarding [redacted]’s complaint. [redacted] came into my store on January 12, 2015 with a picture of a ring that she wanted. We showed her a Sapphire stone which she liked/picked. The carat of the Sapphire is 1.25 along with it being 14 ct. yellow gold. We agreed on a price of $1,750. We advised her we would make the ring as close to what she wants. I sent her a few pictures from my CAD program that she approved (I have attached the e-mail for verification/approval). She came in to look at the final product and she said it didn’t look the same as the picture. Because she was unhappy, I was willing to make it over again for her. Additionally, I put bigger weighted diamonds for the same price. I gave her the ring to take to another Jeweler since she did not believe that we used the correct amount of diamond total weight. At this point, we did double the work for the same price. I have taken all proper precautions to satisfy her. I have been in business for over 32 years and never had a problem or complaint. If the individual is not happy with my product, I am always willing to fix it. We do not take any returns for custom made pieces. I have also attached email threads of our conversations, I'm sure you will see we have done our best to accommodate this young lady.
Furthermore, I would like to settle this matter amicably. The options I can suggest are:
1.) To reimburse me for the labor + gold + diamond for $1,100; OR
2.) We can give her the ring we made for her (even though she has an outstanding balance of $250.00).
