We recently lost technicians, in which one of them was scheduled to come out to your location on 8/8/ We apologize for the lack of communication and understand your decision to hire a different company, however we are willing to refund a portion of the full amount requested due to the fact that we did repair the door and did advise you that it was not a permenant fix for reasons: #The door/hardware is not brand new or even in good condition # It is a very high traffic area, (front entrance to condos), so without installing a whole new door/hardware, it is likely that it will begin to function poorly in the future given the extensive use (and possible customer abuse) that the door endures on a regular basisFYI: we did offer the solution of providing & installing a whole new door (in which case we would have been able to warranty all parts and labor) but customer was not in a position to make that kind of financial decision at that time # We did not replace any parts and cannot warranty any current hardware because we did not originally install the door/hardware...we simply repaired the issues that were preventing the door from closing/latching/swinging properly & placed the door back on its current hinge points We do stand behind our work 100% and would have came back out on 8/to see what we could do to help the situation, however losing the current help that we had was the reason that this did not happen We feel that our initial repair was done correctly and effectively and we did advise customer of the possible problems that could occur in the future, so we feel that a full refund would not be fair We never guaranteed or warrantied anything in cases where we do not replace and install new parts There is still the possibility that customer/tenant misuse could have played a part in the failure of the door repair that we provided We are willing to provide a refund of $182.50, which is half of the full amount Thank you for hearing our point of view and we wish you the best in moving forward!

fact that we did repair the door and did advise you that it was not a permenant fix for 3 reasons: #1. The door/hardware is not brand new or even in good condition.  #2.  It is a very high traffic area, (front entrance to condos), so without installing a whole new door/hardware, it is likely that it will begin to function poorly in the future given the extensive use (and possible customer abuse) that the door endures on a regular basis.
