I have dealt with this company over several years and have received adequate service up until the most recent I asked for a pressure release valve to be installed and some minor sundry other work The bill should have been about $200, it was Many things were done under the guise of it being necessary I went to use the system and the pressure release valve had not been replaced They came back to do the work I initially asked for and charged me another $or so When I complained, I was told that this is a 'he said, she said sorta thing' I was given an hour off the bill
I wasn't impressed from the one and only time I had to use them when my 10-year-old gas water tank stopped working
The first young employee they sent to my house seemed to think it could be repaired, which later I was told by a plumber who actually knew his business that was ludicrous as water tanks now have a sell-by-date of to yearsBut the AJ employee spent two hours phoning a more experience employee asking how to fix it - and then went off in his truck to find parts!
I had to phone the office twice during the four hour service call to get things straightened outEventually young employee left and more experienced guy came but not before more time wasting consulting
I then watched the second guy from my office window as he strolled back and forth to his truck for parts
Eventually the water tank was replaced in the third and fourth hour of the call
And then I waited and waited for the billI was in no rush to get it but it seemed odd how long it took to receive itSo at least a month after the work I get the billI then phone to put half of it on my credit card for this month and then planned to pay it off next monthThe woman on the phone at Archie assured me this would be fineI check my credit card later that day, they'd then put the whole amount on my card
