Review: Ordered food from this place. Found hair in food. Looked like pubic hair. I trashed food immediately and called for refund. Manager was VERY rude, refused to refund my money and told me he'd only give me "replacement food"- I declined citing the obvious health code violations and not trusting that this food wouldn't be tampered with, he hung up on me, I called back and he then made racist comments towards me, told me he didn't have time for my "child games", and only offered to give me a refund IF I returned the food to him VIA (I wasn't to come to the restaurant) his delivery driver. I told him I would collect the food from the trash can (which I did) and return it via the delivery driver. The delivery driver never showed.Desired Settlement: I paid $33.13 and I'd like that refunded. That simple.

This is a letter concerning a complaint that was filed against our business by a customer,

The customer that filed this complaint called our business around 10:30 a.m. The food was delivered at 11:15. There was not a problem with this customer until hours after. She called around 6:30 p.m. to complain there was a hair in her pizza. She raised her voice at me so I said there was not a need for that because I would raise my voice back at her. As a minority I never made a racist comment. As the manager I offered to exchange her food and she refused. This customer had paid with credit/debit card. We told her we would void her transaction to refund her money. The customer raised her voice repeatedly and said no that she wanted her money back in cash. I agreed that I would send her money with a delivery driver as soon as business slowed down a bit it was a very (busy) night. Unfortunately we didn't come across an opportunity to send her money that exact day.

The next morning as soon as our business opened our delivery driver went to this customer's house to deliver her money. We wanted to see the evidence of the (hair) this customer had seen in her pizza. This customer never got the food out of the trash. She made our delivery driver get it out. She received $33.13 dollars in cash as she had requested.
