Brothers Roofing conducted a roof repair along with a gutter repair for the property *** N *** Ave Skokie, IL XXXXX back in June As a company policy, Brothers Roofing does not offer any type of warranty for repairs unless
otherwise statedThe tenant of this property contacted our field specialist, *** ***, on June and February When our field representative went out in June 2013, he determined that there was a new problem with the roof in addition to what he had already fixedAs for the call he gave our specialist in February 2014, there was absolutely nothing we could doWith the large snow falls and the extremely low temperatures, our field specialist could not conduct a proper roof inspection under those extreme weather conditionsOn March 17, 2014, the tenant of *** N *** Ave called our office and informed us that he had made a complaint with the Revdex.com, he wanted to be reimbursed for all of his expenses, and that he would take legal action if necessaryWhile we do empathize with the problems that our previous client is having, Brothers Roofing cannot be held liable for doing a repair on a roof that we did not installWe cannot be held responsible for the problems that his roof is having due to the fact that the issue may stem from improper roof installation from the previous roofersOur field specialist advised the tenant that the roof was in poor condition and needed to be replacedAny repairs that Brothers Roofing conducts on a poorly built roof will not solve the larger issue at handSince the roof is in poor condition, any roof repair that is conducted on *** N *** Ave will only be a temporary fixAs of right now, all we can offer our previous client is a quote for yet another repair or a quote for a complete roof replacement (which is necessary at this point)

When I contacted the field rep *** in February of 2014, he guaranteed me that he would come to my home and look inside the attic to locate the leak, REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHERThis DOES NOT require the rep to be on the roof as there is access to my attic inside the houseThe rep also stated that when the snow melts (regardless of the temperature outside) he would make a visit the first snow-free dayMy roof has been snow free for the past week and a half, with no response from *** or Brothers roofingAlso, for Brothers roofing to say that "he (***) determined that there was a new problem with the roof in addition to what he had already fixed" is false, as what I originally contacted him to fix was NEVER fixed! How was *** even able to determine where the leak was, when he didn't know it himself? This is true as he came to my home the first time, and ASSUMED the issue was with the flashing'sHis exact words were, "this is very common, and i'm sure this will resolve it." Then the second time, he ASSUMED it was a rusty nailThen after much frustration, he advised him (I ADVISED HIM) to go in the attic and locate the leakAfter repair the third time, *** stated this will never leak againI have the same leak in the same spotI believe Brothers Roofing has incompetent and very unprofessional employees who absolutely have no clue on how to repair, let alone troubleshoot a small leak on the roofIf Brothers Roofing knew what they were doing, they would have located the problem that has been occurring for the past almost three years....that has yet to be fixed by themHow can they blame the same leak in the same spot on a bad roof when they (Brothers roofing) were suppose to fix that same leak the first time? I would like a refund as the original problem HAS NOT been resolved

As stated previously, Brothers Roofing cannot be held liable for the problems that the roof at *** N *** Ave is experiencing until we determine what the root of the problem isWhen our certified roof specialist went out to assess the problem, he clearly let our client know that the roof was in dire need of a replacementMr*** settled with a repair for his roof instead of getting the entire roof replacedSince Brothers Roofing only performed a repair, Mr*** cannot expect for that repair to solve everything that is wrong with the roofMr***'s roof needs to be replacedAny repairs from our company or another company will not solve the larger issue at handTherefore, the only thing that we can offer Mr*** is a quote for a roof replacementThis roof needs to be replaced and a simple repair will not suffice anymore
