I did speak with [redacted] on [redacted] and this case has been closed with BFS and [redacted] ** Thank you, [redacted] ***

This is in response to [redacted] complaint, Customer called in for a Service call on [redacted] *ate afternoon, [redacted] was already booked, we advised the customer that the next available was [redacted] but we would put him on Stand by if we had a cancellation we would go byBFS will initiate service within hours after request is made by contract holder under circumstances [redacted] advised that he could not wait and he was going to hire out an outside Co [redacted] was informed that BFS would reimburse what it would cost us to repair, customer was also advised that at the time of purchase of this contract he did not purchase the circuit board coverageThe company that he hired out also repaired the circuit board that customer was already informed he had no coverage on Thank You, [redacted] ***

This is response to [redacted] complaint, our cost for replacement for fan motor is $ [redacted] and mfd run capacitor our cost is $ [redacted] that these both items were replaced, and including his $**deductible that we charge for us going out there to to diagnoseThis is including parts and laborThe total price is $ [redacted] and service charge was waived from the COD company he hiredBFS refunded him more than what he was suppost to get [redacted] was advised we would only reimburse what it would cost us to repair We would not pay for labor cost for an item that is not covered through BFS we would charge you for part and labor Thank you, [redacted] ***

To BFS Home Warranty: The quoted price was not true- it's a DIY price using cheapest parts, my cooling fan motor was replaced by genuine [redacted] to match the brand, dealer price at least $ [redacted] plus shipping $ [redacted] or piin personalso looks like your A/C technician will be free of charge for driving and working, but we all know A/C people is more expensive in labor compared to others Explanation not acceptable because it's not true Best regards, [redacted] **

By reading Terms & Conditions on the back of contract paper, there is nothing wording or sentence saying that "Circuit Board" not covered under A/C system, I do not accept verbal notice saying that "This is not covered..., that is not covered...." once the problems happened and to be claimed after the contract became effectiveReplacing the circuit board is a must electric work to fix the functional failure for A/C system and already fall into the coverage by contractFurther, I just claimed the labor cost of $*** only for fixing the circuit board problem, no part expense included
For the work done on ***, the total cost was $***, see the invoice attached for detailI was unfairly reimbursed $*** only for this work, and I never believe this amount would be true for your company self to fix the same problem including parts and labor, show me your company standard and invoice that $*** can do the same work in *** area
Like the car or home insurance policy, the customer pay premium to protect themselves from accidental event no matter claim amount if exceeding premium or not, home warranty company should honor the agreement, not play the game and trick to customer so as to gain the good business reputation in the market
I will still require to reimburse me the rest of claim amount $*** to solve the problem between us

This is response to [redacted] complaint, our cost for replacement for fan motor is $[redacted] and 7.5 mfd run capacitor our cost is $[redacted] that these both items were replaced, and including his $**.00 deductible  that we  charge for us going out there to to  diagnose. This is including parts and labor. The total price is $[redacted] and service charge was waived from the COD company he hired. BFS refunded him more than what he was suppost to get. [redacted] was advised we would only reimburse what it would cost us to repair.
 
We would not pay for labor cost for an item that is not covered through BFS  we would charge you for part and labor.

BFS Home Warranty Terms & Conditions it states: This Warranty Contract Excludes... number (10) Electronic circuit boards.  At this time BFS does not owe the customer anything. If you have any further questions you can contact me at [redacted].

service within 48 hours after request is made by contract holder under normal circumstances. [redacted] advised that he could not wait and he was going to hire out an outside Co.  [redacted] was informed that BFS would reimburse what it would cost us to repair, customer was also advised that at the time of purchase of this contract he did not purchase the circuit board coverage. The company that he hired out also repaired the circuit board that customer was already informed he had no coverage on.
