I arrived at the Duncan Donuts/Thai Bayshore parking lot approx 15:on June 25, I had been looking for a Thai restaurant that had parking enough for a bobtail tractor The first place on Commercial didn't I spotted this one as I drove by I had to pull through the Starbucks and out to get around back to enter this lot Mostly empty I had room I parked and found the Thai restaurant had closed at 15:so I had donuts When I came out BSO guy (I suspect it just looked like he was) had locked of my tires I asked what was going on and he said Broward Parking Solutions said I had walked away from the property Wrong answer!! I informed the BSO guy of the above statement He said he had to see the video I told him they were assuming I had left and wanted a managers name! I finally called their number and was promptly hung up on by the cowards!!! The guy that booted me decided to let me go and he said he believed me BEWARE of these cowards!!!

After walking to my car to explain the situation the guy ignored my presence until he finished locking the boot on my carAnd while writing my license plate down I started to tell him what happened and he cut me off and he began to say something along the lines of "you are being video and audio recorded"I was fine with thatWhile telling him that I walked my girlfriend to Starbucks and she is meeting me at Dunkin Donuts after she gets her coffee he didn't look at me once and continued to write and check his phoneHe just pointed at the sign and read it out loud "Parking for Dunkin Donuts and Thai Bayshore customers only"I am a Dunkin Donuts customer and that's why I parked thereI was respectful and it is even recordedHe said I had to pay $in cash or credit then and there and if I didn't he would tow my carAnd that he couldn't give me a ticket that I could pay later I didn't have $so I had to call my dad and tell him to come and pay or he'd tow my car(continued)

The owner, [redacted], was very rude and offered no type of explanation. When asked questions he replied with rude, unprofessional comments. As he approached my car he put a lock on my back tire, all the while I was sitting in the car with the car running. Yes, there were signs on the fence in front of me, however, he did not even speak to me before deciding to place the lock on my tire. My 16 year old son stepped out of the car to get food at a neighboring restaurant with my debit card and when he came back I was planning to go into the coffee shop located in the lot I was parked in. Although I was planning to enter the coffee shop in the lot in which my son had parked, [redacted] did not communicate to me, just automatically put the lock on my tire before even speaking to me. When my son returned, which was no more than 5 minutes, I stepped out of the car and was very angry. [redacted] did not communicate in a professional manner. He asked to see my driver's license and I asked why he needed to see my DL. Instead of simply explaining, he walked away and stated he would just have the car towed. He made several rude comments that were unprofessional and in no way appropriate for a business owner. Even when dealing with an upset customer, a business owner should practice professionalism and offer exceptional customer service. He never asked what I was doing in the parking lot, he just put a lock on my vehicle and came to the window and said that my son will owe him $65 when he returns to the car. All he had to do was come speak to me like a man and introduce himself and ask what I was doing. He then would have known that I had intended to purchase a coffee once my son returned; or since I was sitting in the car with it running, I could have moved to a different spot that would not upset him! [redacted] was unprofessional and has no customer service skills what so ever!!

The worst service that I have ever received in my life. After taking a final exam at school my girlfriend and I decided to get coffee. So I park in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot right next to school off of Federal because I enjoy the large selection of iced coffee flavors. She on the other hand wanted Starbucks. She wanted me to walk her to Starbucks so I did and when she got inside I told her to just meet me inside of Dunkin Donuts after she orders and gets her coffee. (It's about a 20 second walk, the stores are separated by a Chipotle.) On my walk to Dunkin Donuts I look at my car and there's a man standing there writing something down so I walk over. As i'm walking towards him the man kneels down and puts a boot on my car. I didn't freak out because it was just a misunderstanding and i'm a Dunkin Donuts customer. When I get to him I asked him what was happening and began to explain the situation but he interupted me and...(situation continued)

Very unprofessional and called me and my dad names such as [redacted] for having the manager come out and tell him to take the boot off and ss for not paying the $65 cash then and there. His final statements to me were "i have both of your license plates and if I ever see you guys parked I will "[redacted]" tow you" That's when I thanked my dad for coming and thanked the Dunkin Donuts manager for coming out and telling him to take the boot off because i'm a daily customer. I told my dad i'd see him for dinner and walked inside of Dunkin Donuts and enjoyed my delicious caramel iced coffee with the amazing feeling knowing that everything that just happened is recorded and he can't deny a single thing :)

I arrived at the Duncan Donuts/Thai Bayshore parking lot approx 15:10 on June 25, 2015. I had been looking for a Thai restaurant that had parking enough for a bobtail tractor. The first place on Commercial didn't. I spotted this one as I drove by. I had to pull through the Starbucks and out to get around back to enter this lot. Mostly empty I had room. I parked and found the Thai restaurant had closed at 15:00 so I had donuts. When I came out BSO guy (I suspect it just looked like he was) had locked 2 of my tires. I asked what was going on and he said Broward Parking Solutions said I had walked away from the property. Wrong answer!! I informed the BSO guy of the above statement. He said he had to see the video. I told him they were assuming I had left and wanted a managers name! I finally called their number and was promptly hung up on by the cowards!!! The guy that booted me decided to let me go and he said he believed me. BEWARE of these cowards!!!

I got to the chipotle parking lot on federal highway just south of commercial to no parking parking spaces, so I went to the Dunkin Donuts parking lot to see if there was parking. I was greeted by many signs saying DD parking only but in the way back corner I saw no such signing, so I took my chances and assumed maybe these were free spots. There were only a few cars back there so I assumed no harm no foul even if it was DD. All of my assumptions were wrong, after getting to my car after eating my lunch at Chipotle, what do I find but a boot on my car. Well st. The gentlemen who were there dealing with the boots were very kind and were in fact apologizing to me! I asked if I would have any grounds to fight this considering the poor signage, but he showed me the signs on all of the entrances saying DD parking only and that it is a 24/7 tow away zone. I messed up I admit and I don't blame Broward Parking Solutions, but rather the property owners for poor signage in this area of the lot

Today 3/25/15 I parked in a Dunkin Donuts parking lot that is in the same plaza as a Chipotle. I read the sign explaining the spot was reserved for Dunkin Donuts customers, I was planning on getting Chipotle and a coffee on my lunch break and I thought since they were directly next to each other no harm would come of it. I came within 5 minutues of getting my food to my car and saw a man booting the car next to mine. I thought oh that person must have left for an extended time period but I still had time to drop my bag and go get coffee. The towing service employee told me as I was dropping my bag in my car that my car was already booted and I was going to have to pay $65, I proceeded to look at my tire no boot was attached. Instead of backing out and fleeing I just explained I was dropping my food off and was going to run into dunkin donuts to purchase my coffee. Instead of listening to me he ran and immediately put a boot on my car. Still thinking we could talk this out I explained I was a student on my lunch break and was just trying to get lunch and a coffee. Instead he was rude in return told me to take responsibility of my actions and demanded my license and credit card otherwise he was going to tow my car. I followed his orders and sat in my car thinking how ridiculous this situation was my $10 dollar lunch break turned into a $65 fine that was no going to cost me a whole day's pay. An older gentlemen ( 70 year-old man) saw me in distress and decided he was going to reason with this man and maybe try to come to an agreement. I watched him walk over to the car where this man was sitting in and knock on the window. This employee clearly did not like that and as he walked out of the car became aggressive towards this kind 70 year old male and pushed him out of the way. I know this is inappropriate behavior.... no matter what the situation is violence and physical contact should not occur. When I informed him I was going to call the police, he blamed his actions on the elderly man claiming by having his finger toward him was reason enough to assault him. He also told me if I called the cops he would void the payment he just took from my credit card and tow my car. Clearly blackmailing me and badgering me to not involve the authorities. I coudn't afford to have my car towed since I'm in nursing school and depend on it for transportation I dropped my attempt at justice. This entire experience was unjust and truly eye opening. I take resposibility for parking in a space designated for a specific shop, even though I was planning on purchasing goods but the manner in which it was carried out was uncalled for. I spoke with the manager of this location and will be reporting this man.
