Review: I scheduled a free consultation for a cosmetic procedure. Following the consultation I decided to schedule the procedure 2 weeks from that day. I was advised by the [redacted] that I should pay in advance in order to secure a 10% discount. Since the procedure she recommended was half as expensive again as the one I originally intended to have I thought that made sense - it's a lot of money, for me. Neither the [redacted] nor the [redacted] pointed out the sign with the price menu on the counter which states at the bottom that they have a no refund/exchange policy on their packages-I didn't see it. 48 hours later I had gotten cold feet and decided to cancel and obtain a refund. Given that the appt was almost 2 weeks away, it never occurred to me that they would refuse to refund a service they hadn't actually performed. However, they then advised me this is their policy, and I have no right of response. They would only offer me a credit note - however I don't need / want any other service they offer. I signed no waiver subscribing to their terms and conditions, and feel that in the time they took to sell me on their discount it would have been fair business practice to simultaneously draw attention to their refund policy. I took it up with the [redacted], who said that in stores people don't say what the refund and exchange policy is as a matter of course. However, in my experience if the purchase is binding, then it's standard for someone to explain that at checkout. In addition, the [redacted] says her hands are tied and she can't connect me directly to the company owners. This fact, the fact that they claim to be a reputable company but won't issue a refund at their discretion on reasonable grounds, as well as the fact of their failure to explain the no refund policy reinforces my belief that their practice is deliberately calculated to hustle people into making an on the spot commitment for a large sum of money that can't be backed out of, even if they don't actually carry it out.Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund the money I paid for the service in full. I already explained I would be happy to pay for the [redacted]'s time / service for the consultation I received.

Sincerely,

Review: On Aug [redacted], 2015 I visited Browhaus for an eyelash extension service. Immediately following my visit I was diagnosed by [redacted] with [redacted] and [redacted] in both my right and left eyes as a pesult of irritation caused by the eyelashes applied at Browhaus.

I contacted Tiffany at Browhaus and provided all of the paperwork of my diagnosis from [redacted] as well as a copy of my prescription on Monday, August [redacted]

On Tues, Aug [redacted] I was informed via email that Browhaus was in the process of looking in to the necessary clearances.

After several phonecalls I heard from Tiffany at Browhaus on Aug [redacted], letting me know my refund should come in shortly to my credit card used for purchase in the amount of 1

After receiving no refund after weeks, and several phonecalls to Browhaus, I reached out via email on Sept [redacted] and then again on Sept [redacted] as my refund, as promised had still not come through. On August [redacted] I reached out again and was told it would be credited the amount of 130.64. I followed up with a phonecall on Friday 9/** and was told I would hear back regarding the status of my refund by 4pm EST. I did not and I have yet to hear back from a representative of the company, nor receive my refund.Desired Settlement: I was promised a refund in the amount of 130.64. In addition, I believe I should also be credited an additional $40.00 for my visit to [redacted] on August [redacted] and $10.00 for a prescription to [redacted] solution for treating the [redacted].

In total, I am requesting financial compensation in the amount of 180.64
