11/06/2017: Mediator left message with customer.11/13/2017: I wasn't happy with the work Mr. [redacted] did. My car wasn't working. The battery was drained & the body work wasn't completed so I took it to [redacted] for them to complete my work.11/20/2017: I sent pictures in of my car & I wanted to know if you received them. It wasn't done properly. It had dust everywhere and he didn't put the hood back on properly. Also, the frame was bent. My car on the left had damages. My light was damaged and the frame was bent. Mr. [redacted] said he had a guy that was on drugs fix my car. It wasn't done right and no one wanted to touch my car because of the liability. He wanted his money, $2,000, and wanted money while he was doing my car and wouldn't release my car to me without the remaining balance.11/27/2017: (Photos were received Consumer -11/21/2017). There was a cardboard cover on the seats. Light fixtures and light are not aligned
properly and the hood isn't aligned completely. Screws are missing and not
aligned with the engine. The frame had to be replaced because it was
bent and the car wasn't put back to together correctly. The oil cap and dip stick are missing, the hood isn't bolted down with bolts and parts were on
the front seat.12/04/2017: Want to touch base with you (12/3/2017) was retrieved from voice mail.12/11/2017: Mediator left message for customer.12/18/2017: I don't want Mr. [redacted] doing work on my car. I had to get my car fixed by another company so I want my money back.

the car so the dust was building up.  She never brought her car back and
I haven't heard from her. I went by her house  to try to help
her with her complaint about her car and didn't see her or the car. We replaced the
bumper, fender, header pen and light. She told
me the car needed a fog light that wasn't right and I told her to
bring the car back. The parts that she complained about were already
missing because of the engine damage. She was suppose to bring the car
back. She demanded her car and we called a tow truck. Some
mechanics do have problems but they do good work and I
shouldn't have told her this. I want to help her resolve this so I will
give her a call to help her with whatever she needs.

As of today [redacted] stated they could not pinpoint why the car will not start. It needs to be towed to a dealership and I would like you to pay for a rental vehicle while it is being repaired.

That's not true. After I got my car from him on 6/30, he refused to give me my car unless I paid the remaining balance $1,400 which I did even though I was already dissatisfied with the quality of his work. Then I had the car towed that same day. After that he had his number changed so I couldn't get in contact with him. He did call me 7/9 from a private number. He refused to give me his new number. I had to call the shop. He stated he was going to pay for my rental car and whatever problems were with my car, he was going to fix it. They left it as a disaster. The body work wasn't even done properly, the frame isn't aligned, my dipstick is missing, etc. I'm not taking my car back there, I'm just looking for a refund. Before he started on the body work, the car was running. It car was unable to drive because of where the car was impacted. It sat for 3-6 months. The problem was they took off parts of my car and did not put them back correctly.

[redacted] 7/11/17 I called her and talked to her when she got it to the mechanics...

shop. I'm supposed to do nothing but the body work. When I picked the car up from her house, it had been sitting for a year. I talked to her and told her we'd work on the body once we got the car running. I called her again on Sunday 7/9, once you get the car running if you have any complaints about the body work we'll take of it. We used all new parts, I gave her my rate for the one mechanical part she bought.
