Review: I purchased a 2003 GMC 1500 HD pickup on 8/2012 and was not aware until yesterday 4/14/14 that the truck had been in a serious wreck hitting a utility pole back in 2007.
I a specifically asked the owner of Brow Boys Truck Sales if it had ever been in a wreck and he said no. This is serious information that should have been disclosed at the time I was considering the purchase. I would have NOT purchased this truck if I would have been told the truth about it! I am very shocked and dissatisfied with the sales practices that went on there! I do not recommend that anyone purchase anything from them! Very shady business practices!

Re: ID# [redacted]
[redacted];
This complaint has come as a surprise to Brown Boys since the customer never contacted us directly with any complaints. I have attached the Car Fax and purchase records from auction. [redacted] auction inspected this vehicle and gave it a pass condition. They will not sell and we will not buy any vehicles with frame damage. The car fax was obtained today when we received your notice. It is our standard operating procedure to provide a car fax if any accident or service records are questioned. That is why we have an account in which we receive unlimited reports from Car Fax. We do not have any records of the customer requesting a car fax. We would never tell a customer it wasn't wrecked if a car fax reflected an accident. However, we have no control over updates to car fax information. At this time we do not know if the car fax contained the accident information at date of customer purchase. The vehicle has had many maintenance services performed with no notification of issues. The car fax does not state the extent of damage to front and right side of vehicle (minor or major).
The vehicle was 9 years old when we sold it in August 2012. It has been almost 2 years since date of purchase and we had no idea she was unsatisfied. Please have her contact us directly with specific issues.
Thank you,
The Brown Boys
