This company is selling a Solar Lantern on their website. This item was created using a kickstarter campaign. Unfortunately the owner did not deliver the product to the backers on the kickstarter campaign and will not provide any information. He is now involved in a new kickstarter campaign and is raising funds for a new product.

Then there was some problem with paying back through the PayPal system, then they agreed to pay me direct through PayPal and then.... yes, I am sure you have guessed by now. Total radio silence in spite of several emails.

This is a very old and simple scam of course. Give the customer empty promises and delay as much as possible until they eventually give up.
I expect there is a chance you will not have this problem. They assess whether they can get away with stealing your money. If they expect too much hassle they will give you what you ordered, if not they will not. The question you need to ask yourself is: do you want to roll the dice?
