Response: To the best of my knowledge, I never received a bill in the mail for renewal of the original Agreement. I know for a fact that the company did not phone me to renew the Agreement. Review: I have contracted with brown ext. for approximately 15 years to check for termite activity around a house I own at [redacted] I wondered what type of examination was being done of the property especially being that a bit of the work has to be done in a rather tight crawl space. after the last so-called inspection I decided to inspect the area myself only to find active infestation. I have no idea how long this has been going on but feel that these companies probably hire anyone looking for work but who may not be willing to do what needs to be done to correctly find areas that are problematic. I feel that after the last inspection where the one inspecting was not able to find the open door nor able to open a combination lock that I have better check into things myself.Desired Settlement: being that I had a contract with this company I feel it is their responsibility to correct the problem of the infestation.

We have received the concern on [redacted]. We called on April 2 2015 at 1:40PM and spoke to the client about setting up an appointment to come take a look at the potential problem which we set up an appointment for Tuesday April 7th 10:00am.We sent a letter out in May 2014 to renew the warranty that was supposed to be paid by June 3 2014 to keep the warranty active but received no response. We called the client a few times threw the year to see if he was interested in keeping the warranty but got no response. So October 2014 we cancelled the warranty. We did make contact with the client on Dec 11 2014 and he stated that he did want to continue the warranty so we made the exception and extended the deadline. We went and inspected on Dec 12 2014. We did receive a code to unlock the lock but the technician could not work the lock and noted that on the paperwork that he could not get it to work then we sent the paperwork to the client with an invoice in the mail. We received no payment so we sent out another invoice to remind him in Jan 2015. We still received no payment so we sent out a final invoice February 13 2015 with a letter saying if no payment or contact was made to the office by March 12 2015 the warranty extension offered would expire. This is April 2 2015 that we received the Revdex.com complaint and we still have received no payment or no contact from the client to our office. The warranty has expired and this is the first we are hearing from the client since Dec 11th 2014.

Review: On Oct 8, 2013, I signed an "Agreement" with Brown Exterminating Co., [redacted], and paid $175 for an initial termite inspection and an annual policy for inspection/treatment services. Under the terms of the Agreement, a Brown Continuous Protection Guarantee was to have been provided to me following the initial inspection which was performed on Oct 8, 2013. First, I never received the Guarantee. Second, the company never contacted me in October 2014 or since then to renew my annual policy (for annual fee of $95) or schedule an annual inspection provided under the policy.Desired Settlement: Given the fact that the Company did not follow through with their responsibilities under the terms of their own "Agreement," I would like a full refund of the $175. I am currently researching for other exterminating companies in my area who are reliable.
