Because what they do is misleading and unfair! I went there to purchase hearing aids, was charged on the 30th of June 2016, went to my appointment where I was supposed to received them only to be told that they were given to someone by mistake and they did not have them there Also was made to feel like I was not telling the truth and [redacted] office person DID NOT contact me to tell me not to go to the appointment~this was the first thing Secondly I had another appointment for 3:on the 25th of August, and I waited for [redacted] until 3:and was going to leave (which now I know I should have) but he came when I was walking to my car He argued with me about the time and was rude when he held out his phone and said here it is it says at 3: The office manager wrote the appointment not only on her calendar but also on a note and place on my desk She also told [redacted] I am raising my grand daughter and had to pick her up from school by 3:30, so that time would not workHe left a bad taste in my mouth Another thing is that it is misleading when they say days FREE trial, because it is not I will be contacting OCC and filing a complaint against the business also I did not receive them for almost months, and decided I did not want them I should never have been charged almost for a re-shock fee alone I did not want to do business with them after all of this and I definitely will not recommend them to anyone When my daughter talked to ***, he said he was charging 10% and I have the paperwork to prove it, but he got mad at her and charged 15% If they practice this way, and even if I do not get my money back, I will try to get the law changed regarding the day free trail period, because [redacted] NEVER went over the contract with me (and I know better because I have done contracts for over years) so I had no idea that everyone is charged a 15% fee if you choose NOT to purchase the hearing aids during the free trial period I am not sure of the laws concerning that, but I do know that he cannot say sign here, initial here, he has to explain every single fee related to that account..I would like to have my money refunded This company were wrong to treat me the way they did beginning with their office help that lied about calling me at work I never received a call from them and I was there until my appointment Thank you!

RE: *** ***To whom it may concern,Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and giving us the opportunity to resolve it in an amicable manner.Ms *** purchased hearing aids from Brown Hearing Centers on 6/30/ Because of a delay in the delivery of her order, we fit her with loaner aids until her order was completed The product was delivered to her on 8/25/ On 9/2/Ms *** daughter called and informed Brown Hearing Centers that she was thinking about returning the hearing aids or may be open to a model change.Brown Hearing Centers does offer a day trial but not a free trial The non-refundable portion is in bold italics and underlined and was initialed by Mr ***.A call was placed to Ms *** from Brown Hearing Centers on 12/9/regarding this matter We expressed to Ms *** in the interest of good will Brown Hearing Centers has agreed to refund Ms *** the non-refundable amount that we withheld from her original refund.At Brown Hearing Centers, we are please to have resolved this issue with Ms ***.Respectfully,Brown Hearing Centers*** ***
