Review: Hello LL Brown. I'm filing this complaint because after no less then 12/15 phone calls the matter still has NOT been resolved. On 11/10/2014 I contact Mr [redacted] to cancel a policy effective 11/15/2014 I was told by Mr [redacted] he would would take care of it that couldn't any more from the truth for the following REASONS. When I realized a refund check had NOT been received in February/2015 I again called Mr. [redacted] I was told [redacted] again he would take care of it. Then about a week later I [redacted]. received a called from Mr. [redacted] stating he need pro of sale I [redacted]. replied that was never required before. It looks like to that Mr.[redacted] screwed up and failed to cancel the policy when requested. That's noway my [redacted]. problem the order for cancellation was placed 4 days before the sale was final. Since February I [redacted] have placed no less 6 calls and have talked with both Mr. [redacted] and [redacted] on my last to LL Brown March/24/2015 I [redacted]. Spoke with both Mr [redacted] and [redacted] at that time I was told the refund check was in processing would be mailed in the day or so guess what today IS 04/13/2015 still NO check. I have had insurance in force with LL Brown and Mr. [redacted] for many many years needless to say since this problem I have no insurance in force with L L Brown.Desired Settlement: Cancel the insurance effective 11/15/2015 as originally request and issue the refund with a cancellation date of 11/15/2014

Thank you for your letter dated April 13th, 2015 in regard to a complaint received from one of ourformer customers. This came to my attention last week and on Friday, April 17th, I contacted thecustomer, drove to the customer's place of business and hand delivered a check for the prorata refunddue in accordance with his initial request for policy cancellation in November 2014.The agent, Mr. [redacted], that was cited in the letter, performed his duty by making a cancellationrequest on the day he initally spoke with the customer. Again, in February, when the client called again,Mr. [redacted] again requested the cancellation, previously sent in accordance with agency protocols.The procedures for cancellation were not followed internally by other staff in order to get the policycancelled in a timely fashion. We have addressed this with staff and do not anticipate further problemsor instances.The client has received the appropriate refund and appeared satisfied at our meeting on Friday, April17th.
