Brown Shoe Company Reviews (1)
Review: Shoes.com, company of Brown Shoe Company, shipped me used worn designer label shoes. Thrift shop quality worn soles worn out worn boots at a pretty cost of $140.06. They were also repackaged in a generic white carton. No manufacturer box and well USED, worn soles and bent worn footbed. I called customer service the day I received them and was told they don't recycle returned items (liar) and I would have to return them and wait for processing, up to 30 days, before I could receive a refund. And if I wanted a replacement I had to pay another $140.06 up front and still wait up to 30 days for refund of other boots. Merchant resells worn returned shoes advertised as new at the cost of a new pair and customer service doesn't do a thing to resolve problem. Customer loses.Desired Settlement: Refund my credit card asap $140.06. You have so many customers you certainly aren't working at retaining me. Your customer service explanations are bogus and uncaring. You haven't resolved a thing. I have photographs of the worn item. I received it 1/15, I called you on 1/15, and I reboxed them for return on 1/15. You sent me disgusting worn boots at full price. Shame on you.
