There must be some confusionIt was our understanding that the original call on 6-11-was for a roof repairThe customer described the leak and
problem she was experiencingAn estimator was sent to determine the extent of her issue
On 6-16-15, a repair crew was sent with the materials and tools necessary to complete the repairIt is our policy to knock when we arriveIf the customer does not answer we continue onto the roof, as per the phone requestThe customer had described the leak at/above the front doorOur efforts were concentrated thereWe found and repaired and exposed nail and a small tear in that areaThose were invoicedHowever, the gutter cleaning and nailing of the eave were a simple courtesyThe customer called a second time, stating that her roof continued to leak, near the original leakA repair crew was dispatched a second time and further repairs were completed above the front door(there was no further chargeThis roof has out lasted is life span, it is simply an old roofWe have done the best we can to alleviate her problemIt was our belief that the issue had been resolvedHere is why-
The customer called again with a request for an itemized billWhich was provided to her La Porte address on the following dayShe did not complain, mention or hint that the roof was still leaking; she simply requested an itemized bill

There is no confusionThe original call on 6-11-was for a free estimateDid not receive an estimate after inspectionA crew came out 6-16-15, I did not tell the company to fix the problem, was waiting to hear from company what the problem could beHad I been called to tell me that a crew was coming out, I would have informed them, to fix or not to fix
I received a bill for the repair which the roof still leaked, had they told me that they were coming out again, I would have told them no
If the cleaning of the gutters and the nailing of the eaves was a courtesy then I believe I should not have been charged a high bill
I have contacted another roofing company which is taking care of the problem, with correct protocolI will pay the original bill
