My car was in accident & insurance company referred my car to Brown&Wood's collision shop which isn't longer operating closed day I picked up my car.Car was brought in for repair which took months to repair. Car was picked up the day the shop closed for good. Workmanship was horrible as my car was still not functioning properly after I left which I notified my insurance company. Glass from the accident still in the car, left the car filthy, stains from the mechanics hands on the dash. It was brought to another collision shop which is still repairing the vehicle and documenting the poor workmanship this company performed on my vehicle. They were not equipped to fix a [redacted]. After they so-called repaired my vehicle I put new tires which still my back end was completely off and caused my new tires to wear out again. The new collision shop is spending thousands of dollars to repair Brown&Wood's damage.Brown&Wood was not equipped to repair a [redacted] and in the process ruined my car even further. My accident was back in March and is in now Dec and still dealing with this. According to new shop even air bags were not installed properly and this could have been a safety issue with my family in the car. Tried calling them to pay for a car rental as I ran out of days insurance would cover. Left several messages with no return phone calls back ever. Lack of response and respect and poor workmanship this company does not deserve future customers especially that I am a new resident of North Carolina. Details was my [redacted] brought back to them in March 2014. Insurance paid out about $11k to them for repairs.Desired SettlementI spent money to purchase brand new tires because Brown & Wood claimed that it was from wear and tear of the vehicle not the accident but due to Brown & Wood's mishandling of repairs of my vehicle it has caused further damage to my car after tires were replaced of my own expense. THey should pay for the new tires as well as the additional costs of the rental car that I am on my third week. Please contact me as I have receipts of the new tires and once my car is complete I will have bill for rental car.

Brown and Wood Mazda Auto used car sales manager isn't untrustworthy and not concerned about customer only his profitability. Do not buy there please!Purchased [redacted] 2014 from Brown and Wood used car auto dealership on 8-13-16. I was told by sales rep [redacted] the [redacted] was in excellent shape and no major issues interior or exterior. We agreed on some preliminary cost numbers before driving down to see car on the following day Saturday. Our commute was approximately 1.5 hours or so and when we pulled up to dealership the car was parked out front. The cars exterior is white and looked as if it hadn't been washed or detailed since the dealership received it on their property over 65 days. This should of been a red flag but looked through that and saw potential of a possible good car. You couldn't tell scratches and marks from dirtiness. We drove the car and it road nice and when we returned to dealership started negotiating price. The sales manager ([redacted]) did the negotiating while sales rep took the car to be washed or what they consider detailing. We spent a good hour going back and forth on price, filling out paperwork and financing. When they brought the car back from detailing we basically got into car and drove it home. I washed and waxed the car three days later after purchasing the [redacted] and noticed a major problem. The front hood was scratched very badly in many places. It was very depressing seeing the scratches up close and in so many places and didn't notice at dealership. The dealership should of said something to us but it was never mentioned and the car was very dirty in the initial viewing covering the scratches. On Friday, 8-19-16 I sent 5 pics of scratches on the hood of [redacted] and an email with my disappointment to [redacted] sales rep at Brown and Wood and to call me asap to discuss issue. I received no call back or email from anyone at the dealership. I called [redacted] at 9:30am, Tuesday, 8-23-16 and he said he was off Friday last week and [redacted] was off the weekend and he was going to tell him Monday but didn't. So I told [redacted] to talk to [redacted] and call me about the issue. I got a call from [redacted] 20mins later and he said that we should have noticed the scratches and he doesn't have any more room for money toward the [redacted] or his bottom line. I informed him the car was dirty covering scratches during initial viewing and wasn't noticeable after the deal was done, car was washed and we drove car off lot. [redacted] told me he has a body man that paints cars in the dealership once a week and he would see if a buffing would remove scratches for 65.00 at my cost. I informed him these were not paint blemishes but deep scratches that buffing wouldn't cure. [redacted] said they wouldn't of put a car out of their dealership in that condition but I disagreed. People make mistakes and this is an issue. He wouldn't help because again he had put according to [redacted] too much money into that [redacted]. The dealership owes me touchup paint/ white, owners/ service manuals for [redacted] and wheel unlock tool for nuts. They still haven't sent them and do not know if they will ever send now.Desired SettlementRepair[redacted] hood entirely to cover scratches. This can be done by auto body work shop which Brown and Wood has.

I bought a car from Brown & Wood on 02/13 signed all legal documentation and everything that stated that the car had not had any damage to the car. When I tried to go trade the car in today 10/19/2015, I was told by a different car lot that CARFAX shows the vehicle was in 2 previous wrecks, that I was never informed about. I still had the documentation that showed that the car was never wrecked signed by the Brown & Wood salesman. I took the document to Brown & Wood to see what they would do to fix the issue and they told me that there was nothing that they could do. I am highly disappointed because I was never told that the car was wrecked, and then over paying for a wrecked vechicle.","neg-1
