Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The business provided information to the Revdex.com. To start with Brown's Appliance stated in their 1st and last paragraphs that we were repeat customers as they had been to our home before. They have never
been to my house at any time....ever!!! (Other than this one time.) I would really like to know what appliance they came to my house and repaired. Also when I called to set up an appointment I was told by the lady/co owner on the phone that part of the service call was to use testing equipment to perform some diagnostic checks. Heck it could have been just low on some Freon....didn't even check. Could have been a bad defrost control unit like the co-owner stated on the phone. She said they have a way of testing to see if it was bad...didn't check. And in the real world it doesn't matter if you have years of experience you aren't perfect and that is why you should always check the systems to confirm your suspicions. I did check with other repair facilities and was told that diagnostics checks are performed with a service call. Lastly nothing was offered to make things right and I do not accept their response as a resolving statement but as a statement of they did nothing but drove to my house to collect $60. The owner and co-owner need to communicate with each other as to what a service call entails...like I said previously, co-owner said they had testing equipment to diagnose some components and that is what I expected. Must be nice to own a business where all you do is drive to peoples homes and collect $for showing up. Only way a positive note comes out of this is a full refund.
Sincerely,
