It's extremely difficult to get your first assignment with Maritz after you sign upIn my situation, I signed up and was approvedThen I requested a shop which was given to someone elseThen I requested another shop and waited for approvalThen was eventually notified that I had to call to talk with a representative before I could be approved for any shopsSo I called and was not able to talk to any representativeThe recording always says that all of the representatives are busyThis is regardless of what day and what time that I callSo I emailed them and then finally they called me a week later and left a voice mailI called back in and was unable to reach anyoneEventually was able to talk to a representative, and was told to email a test photo for a specific job that I was requestingI followed the instructions and submitted the photo within a matter of minutesI was not contacted again until a week laterEvery phone call and email took 1-weeks for any response Eventually they said that I was approved for the job/shop but it was never listed as approved on the websiteThey eventually called me to ask if I was still interested, but by this time, No, I am not interested in doing any business with a company that cannot be reached and is so extremely slow at every response I am an experienced shopper with several other shopping companies and have never experienced such slow and undependable communication and approvalsI cannot wait weeks to be notified of each step of every shop requestI should not have to ask repeatedly about a shop requestI should not be asked if I am still interested in a shop that I have already applied for and sent in a test forIf I was not interested in the shop, I would not ask for the shop and I would not complete the testWhen I have successfully followed two steps in a row to attain the shop, and I am approved, then it should automatically show as approved rather than be asked if I am interestedThis is all just a waste of time And now in an attempt to close my account, I have had to send two emails and one phone call message left on their voicemailOf course it will be weeks before I hear back from the company and instead of closing my account, It will be a question: "Do you want to close your account?"

Company calls my home every night. They've been told not to call and they keep calling. I can't stop them

This is positively the worst moving company I have ever worked withI have moved all over the world and never have I had so much broken and ruinedAnd now waiting and waiting for the reps to call me back or answer emails, sometimes two weeks in between emailsI will let all of my friends and acquaintances know not to use this company!

Horrible company:
- Uncaring & rude staff
- Overstuffed boxes to make them weigh more
- Even wrapped canned goods
- Broke legs off furniture and refused to pay for it
Run-Don't Walk!
