I am rejecting this response because: I know nothing will be done because the company does not belong to the Revdex.com I also know they think that the spots of the concrete came off because of salt being placed on the sidewalk We did not place salt on them and I never said we didI said the sidewalks were treated the same...why would those have the top come off and the other one not have that happen The bottom line is : it is sad that after owning a home for years, I felt the need to contact the Revdex.com because the owner of the business could not take minutes to have a conversation about what happened to the sidewalks and offer a solution for making it look smooth That is all we wanted But he was "too busy"- his words I was frustrated on the phone because no one would discuss the situation His wife was dismissive as well He came and drove away How do you think that makes someone feel? It makes them feel the owner is avoiding them because there is a problem with the work At no time were we given instructions as to the care of the concrete We were never told to use kitty litter or sand.The Township lists all contractors in the area and remains neutral and does not reccommend contractors.The bottom line is we are disappointed that we were not considered worthy of a conversation about the sidewalk and we are disappointed in the sidewalk as well. 06/21/17To whom it may concern, I am writing to you in regards to the complaint filed against my businessMy business did a concrete job on 08/19/for the customer who made the complaintWe replaced three blocksTwo of the blocks were in the driveway and the other block was notThey paid
$for the jobThe customer called on 05/07/complaining only about the two blocks in the driveway having the top of them coming offOn the same day that we did their job, we also did work for or other customers out of the same batch of concreteHer complaint is the only one we gotMy wife specifically asked her if she used any type of salt or ice melt on it and the customer told her yes, but no other walks got damagedI went to their house on 05/13/to look at the blocks in question and found that they were in fact damaged from using a salt productI have seen this type of damage beforecalled my wife and told her to call the customer to give my opinionwas very busy that day working and had appointments, so I didn't go to the doorWhen my wife called me back she was upset, because the lady was yelling at her, was being rude to her, and also denied using any salt productsI have been doing concrete work for years, so I know what salt products do to new concreteThe salt or any type of ice melt will eat the surface off of the top of it, especially when its newam not responsible for any salt product damage done to any concreteI always recommend using sand or kitty litter to my customersThe customer stated it was a bad mix of concrete, but know that it was not, because all of my customers that day would have complained and they didn'tOnly Her! As far as our customer service and work, we take alot of pride in what we doWe have gotten many compliments from our customersother contractors, and the township where she livesMy business is listed on the townships contractors listWhy would the township recommend our work if they didn't approve the quality or like it? We have done work for the township and their employees and most of the streets in her town, and every job passed inspection, including hers.Thank you,Rocky BOwner
