To: B8B - Respond to ComplaintFrom: A-Quality Seamless Gutters.RE: Revdex.com Complaint # [redacted] Mr [redacted] re: his Mother's Residence.We did not install the gutters and downspouts on the [redacted] residence located at [redacted] Columbus, OH as stated in the complaintWe performed a Cleaning Service and installed LeafProtection on the propem on 04/09/2015.We received a call on Friday, 09/30/which the customer stated the gutters were overflowing withrain water on the left side of the houseOn Monday, October, 10/03/we received another call thatwater was going into the garageAnd, on 10/04/that water was going into the basementOurforeman had responded, but went to an incorrect address received from our officeWhen he realized hewas at the wrong address, it was past office hoursHe then called the homeowner's son, Her son gotnasty with our employee on the phone, saying the "gutters were warranted for years.On Wednesday, October 5, went to the home with my crew to try to determine what was theproblemI had our crew remove some of the leaf protectionThe gutters were free of debrisWechecked and found there were no stoppages in the downspouts eitherHowever, the downspout wassplit in the back which allowed water to run all overWe also checked the gutter and found it wasleaning out from the fascia boardWhoever installed the gutter used a different hanger than we use.The hanger had failedWe installed extra hangers and screws, put the gutter back in place andreinstalled the Leaf ProtectionThe Leaf Protection is working correctlyThere were no stoppages.Considering the amount of rainfall received during this period, the homeowner may consider installing alarger gutter and an extra downspout on this side (west), as many storms come from that direction.We Did Not Install These Gutters and DownspoutsI told Mrs [redacted] , the homeowner that we would tryto find her a downspout, but the color has been discontinuedPerhaps, this is a Job for her son to havethe damaged downspout replaced.Again, we did not install these gutters and downsaouts an this residenceWe only supplied labor andmaterial for installation of the Leaf ProtectionWe take this complaint very personal as we do not "ripoff" elderly people as Mrs [redacted] ' son statedQuite the opposite, we tried to help with her situation.Mrs [redacted] is a lovely personI told her to please contact us if we could be of service in the future.John PL***, ***A-Quality Seamless Gutters
