Review: I purchased an used [redacted] for $2000 in September 2014 from Brown's Automotive Services in [redacted] The address of the business is [redacted]. The [redacted] name on the business card is [redacted]. The phone number listed on the card is [redacted] The [redacted] told me that he also has a repair shop in Richmond, Virginia. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I started to have various problems. I only purchased this vehicle on the full faith of the [redacted] word. He stated specifically that " he sells reliable cars". However, when the vehicle starting leaking anti-freeze, his response was unprofessional and other individuals deserve to know that this business does not deliver what it promises. At first the [redacted] suggested that he look at the leak. I drove the car to the shop on [redacted] and he looked the car over. He stated the "leak was minimal" and he claimed that after his repairs the leak was fixed. However, this issue has always been a problem and never correctly fixed. In October 2014, before going to work, I checked the anti-freeze level in the car. There was none in the vehicle after sitting idle all night. I called [redacted] and left several voice mail messages at [redacted] I received no answer and the voice mail box was full so I was unable to leave voice messages. I literally had to run him down to come pick up the car from my apartment because I no longer felt safe driving the car. After 3 days, he finally came and picked the car up. He told me he fixed the anti-freeze leak and charged me $200 and would not give me a receipt. Even now as I type this, there is no anti-freeze in the vehicle. I have been unable to drive it. I am now taking the vehicle to a professional mechanic to resolve the problem. I want people to know that there work is not backed or guaranteed by anything if they go to this shop for auto repairs. The [redacted] purposely keeps his voice mail box full so he doesn't have to deal with complaints. The resolution that [redacted] offered: take the car to a ford dealership and work something out. What about the $200? Didn't you fix it? Why should I keep paying? Are you capable to fix this or are you incompetent? Currently I am in the process of taking the car to Guaranteed Auto in [redacted] to be properly fixed. The individuals stated they can fix the problem and a trip to the dealership is not necessary. The work also comes with a guarantee and warranty. When I asked [redacted] about the questions above, he was unprofessional and stated "he didn't have to anything".Desired Settlement: I would like an apology first if I do not get anything else. I know that is wishful thinking but I feel I am entitled to that. The next thing I would like is a refund of $200 for repairs that never fixed the problem. The vehicle is still unable to hold anti-freeze liquid. If I am unable to reach a resolution, then I hope above all else that I can save someone else from making the same mistake that I did. When you work hard for your money, you hope that you get what you paid for. I don't want another person to think they are getting a reliable used car or auto repairs and discover that they are not getting what they paid for. It is next to impossible to reach the owner for any resolution due to not answering the phone and the inability to leave voice messages.
