aware of the situation 13 years ago. The customer was told that installing the ridge vent on this peak was not necessary and the vent would have no function. The customer WANTED the vent installed to match the other peaks. In order to properly vent this section of roof Browns Roofing installed a power vent . All of the above occurred 13 years ago.On 9-11-14 Browns Roofing gave this customer an estimate to replace a damaged pipe flashing. The customer did not like the price and became very argumentative . Browns Roofing told the customer they should get other estimates. At no time did Browns Roofing tell this customer our minimum price was $350. In fact the estimate we wrote was for $300.

Browns Roofing stands buy our first response. The allegations in this customers complaint are false. This customers demand for money will not happen.

I am entering the hospital for low back surgery and have no time to dig up the records you request. Why was this not requested sooner?
Under NO circumstances am I willing to remove my complaint about Brown Roofing without a reimbursement for services I was charged for but not performed. It is not an honest, nor ethical business and other consumers should be made aware of its practices.

In March of this year Browns Roofing coated a portion of a small flat roof for this customer. 
In June the customer called and said she had a leak, Browns Roofing went out that same day and met with the customer and the maintenance personnel from the customers condo...

. Browns Roofing found problems with the box gutter on the flat roof, the valley flashing on the shingled roof, the apron on the flat roof and the miter on the seamless gutter. None of these items had anything to do with the coating job . To ensure the coated roof area was not a problem, Browns Roofing re-coated the area free of charge.
At the customers request Browns Roofing wrote an estimate to repair the problem areas. The customer signed a contract on 6-11-14 for the additional work. This work is scheduled to be done the 1st week of September, to allow the new coating time to harden.
Under Ohio's Consumer Protection Law a customer has 3 business days to cancel a contract, that time frame has expired. However in a effort to resolve this complaint Browns Roofing will cancel the contract, the customer simply needs to call and confirm they wish to cancel on or before 8-22-14. ( ###-###-#### )
