I regret to inform you that *** *** ** *** has not been employed with Brownsburg Health Care Center since September My name is Melissa *** and I became the Administrator on January 20, I would like to apologize for not updating our records with the Revdex.com in a
timely manner.In regards to the complaint from *** *** *** on October 8, 2015; we have been in contact and the matter has been resolved*** *** mother was a resident at our facility and was approved for Medicaid on April 1, Unfortunately it often takes an additional to days before Medicaid initiates payment to the facility for a residents careAnd it is against policy for the facility to issue refunds while a resident's account is outstandingThe refund should have been processed by July 1, at the latest, allowing days for Medicaid to initiate paymentThe refund was already in transit to the *** family when I received the complaint letter from the Revdex.com.Additionally, I launched an internal audit to ensure that all resident refunds are returned in a timely manner.Thank you for your assistance in this matter, Melissa ***, HFA

Unfortunately it often takes an additional 30 to 60 days before Medicaid initiates payment to the facility for a residents care. And it is against policy for the facility to issue refunds while a resident's account is outstanding. The refund should have been processed by July 1, 2015 at the latest, allowing 60 days for Medicaid to initiate payment. The refund was already in transit to the [redacted] family when I received the complaint letter from the Revdex.com.
Additionally, I launched an internal audit to ensure that all resident refunds are returned in a timely manner.
