WE DROPPED A WHITE TAIL DEER OFF ON 12-03- WE HAVE BEEN TOLD NUMEROUS DATES THAT THE DEER WOULD BE DONE MOST OF THE TIME OUR PHONE CALLS WERE NOT RETURNED WE MADE A $DEPOSIT AND AS YET HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR DEER HEAD WE HAVE BEEN VERY PATIENT AND HAVE ON OCCASION TALKED TO BROWNSBURG TAXIDERMY AND BEEN PROMISED THE DEER HEAD IN - WEEKS, AND THEN NOTHING NO RETURN PHONE CALLS IT HAS BEEN MONTHS AND STILL NO RETURN HONE CALL WHEN OUR DEER HEAD WILL BE DONE I AM READY TO CALL A LAWYER AND GO TO COURT IF THIS IS NOT RESOLVED SOON, I WILL

This guy looks like he does good work, but one thing he needs to work on is calling his customers backIt is actually comical at this pointHe told me my animal would be done by a certain date and here we are nearly months past that date and it is still not doneSo there he sits with my animal and my down paymentWhat am I supposed to do??? So I try to call him and get in touch, but that never works, so I have to drive minutes out of my way to the shop only to find out that it will be another month before it is finishedThis is the story every time I go in thereI will never be taking another animal to this guy
I cannot comment on his work, all I can comment on is his lack of respect to call me back and lack of ability to deliver when he says he would deliver
Come on ***, just call a guy back with an honest answer!

He took forever to get my mount back I had to threaten legal action with him Cape has slippage and slight smell as well I would never recommend him to anyone Stacks of antlers in his shop waiting to be completed Always has excuses why something isn't ready

We took an animal to Brownsburg Taxidermy based on feedback we had received from a co-worker We were promised it would be ready in months and instead of being charged the initial deposit that was required, our credit card was charged twice - double the amount it should have been After three months, we started calling and were told that it would be done in a couple of months Every time we called back, it was the same story time and time again - "It will be done in months." Over time, months switched to weeks and then we could no longer get a hold of the owner He wouldn't return phone calls or emails We would stop by the shop, but he was never there Over years later, and we still have NOTHING! When we did finally get the owner to return a call to us, he told us we would have it by the end of the month That was over a month ago Still nothing At this point in time, we have kissed the animal and deposit goodbye We can only hope he will find it somewhere in himself to do the right thing and complete the work we paid him to do and turn it over, but I'm not getting my hopes up I would not encourage anyone to do business with this individual

30 years of doing business in Indiana and this one does not disappoint. After months of phone calls and constantly being informed the mount would be ready in "2 weeks" he then disappears. Not home, no phone messages returned...gone. 1 year and 3 months and I sent an email threatening to file in small claims. Ding, Ding, Ding...that one got a return phone call. I get "divorce" and "truck broke down" excuses. But the topping on the cake was how he never starts working on a customers mount until paid in advance. Image my surprise as to how ALL of this is my fault...if only I had paid him in advance. Maybe if he had only mentioned any of this while dropping off the deer I could have helped him out. Instead of having this very honest business owner struggle with divorce and a broke down truck while storing my 12 point deer for me. Hallmarks of an honest businessman. Maybe find someone that doesn't have dozens of rotting carcasses currently scattered all over the lawn and porch.

Took a deer to this man in Feb 2015, he said it would be done in 9-12 months. He made me give a down payment. So in Jan 2016, I brought him another deer and paid him a down payment on that one too. He told me the first one was almost done. Now it's been two years later and neither deer is done and he won't answer any phone calls and if you do get a hold of him, he has excuses like he just got a divorce or he was having family problems. Then he promises to have them done in a month but he doesn't. We are going to take him to court. If he can't get them done, just give them back with my money and I will take them elsewhere!

Makes promised dates that it would be done and that he couldn't keep. Makes several excuses (lies) why it's not done as promised. Not there during his published business hours and didn't return phone calls. I finally found him there once and he finished it. I was a little disappointed in his work on mine. I would NEVER use him again. I don't like being lied to and promised dates he can't keep.
