onconsignment from another customerUpon purchase, he was given extensiveinstructions, the same instruction given with any new unit saleAs a courtesy, we heldthe factory warranty under the original owner as we were under no obligation to do sobecause the warranty is non-transferrable per the manufacturer.When Mr*** brought the unit in for service, he expected us to accelerate his issue tothe front of our already overloaded service schedule, and it was explained to him that hiscomplaint appeared to not be a service issue but rather an improper customer operationissuc.The unit was thoroughly checked over by our certified mechanic and no manufacturer orservice issues were foundTwo separate technicians ran the unit and neither found anymechanical or service issues in the operation of the unitUpon completion of the servicecheck, Mr*** was told there were no mechanical, service or warranty issues, andwas again instructed on the proper operation of the unitThis service check wasperformed at no charge to Mr***.This is the last free service that he will seeThe original manufacturer warranty whichagain, is non-transferrable, expires 04-01-After this date, we will not provide anyfuture or further service on this unit nor any of Mr***’s equipment.We feel we beyond extended our scope of service and courtesy necessary to Mr***only due to the fact that the original owner who put the unit with us on consignment wasa very loyal customerOther than the original manufacturer warranty, Mr*** wasnot sold this unit with any implied nor written warranty terms.Thank You,Patrick B***, President
