Review: This weekend, Saturday around 7:30 p.m., I visited the location at Downtown Plaza in Sacramento. The moment I walked in, with a friend, we were not welcomed and/or greeted in a friendly manner. I have never been to this location before but I have been getting threaded for years. There were two younger Indian ladies working that evening. A shorter, petite lady that smiled a lot, and a taller full-figured lady that seemed moody and unfriendly. I did not get their names but I am confident that information is easy to obtain. That's fine but the moment she began rolling her eyes at me and responding rudely to any questions I had, or even for her to clarify what she wanted me to do, I was close to refusing service and walking out. However, I held my composure just to be courteous and well-mannered. I should have walked out. She continued aggressively threading and ended up cutting me around the edges of my mouth and opened a cut above my left eye to the point that it bothered my eyelid and caused great discomfort. I had NEVER been cut before. Moreover, she did not gently wipe the hairs off with a cotton ball as every other single location does, so I had them get in my nose. She also dabbed witch hazel which also ended up in my nose-I had to sit up and started coughing trying to get it out. Ridiculous. I paid $26 total and the other lady still asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Lastly, I tried to tell her I had never been cut before and she rudely replied: "Well that's because you didn't hold your eye how I told you!" I could not believe she had the audacity to tell me off and blame it on me. She continued rolling her eyes at me and then said, "Well sorry." I told her "Your apology is not very honest when you're rolling your eyes at me." At that point, we were literally engaged in a verbal altercation. I am extremely upset about the way I was treated. Perhaps it was the way I was dressed; flip-flops, a sundress and big curly/frizzy hair? Perhaps she stereotyped and thought I was a young nave girl that does not know how customers should be treated? I do not know the reasons for her disrespect. That lady's services and quality of work are completely unacceptable. I was visiting with my newborn baby in such heat and to have to be treated like that should not be tolerated. I am taking this to corporate because I want action taken. A simple slap on the hand is not enough. It is now Monday and I am still emotionally disturbed. I am also contacting the Revdex.com and the Dow town Plaza management to submit an official complaint.

The complaint was prompty responsded to and immediately addressed. The customer ([redacted]) was also kept fully informed via emails during the process.

The customer was provided a refund check Plus an additional complimentary free service. This matter is assumed closed form our end at this point.

Indeed, I received an immediate response from corporate.

In regards to their refund check, I am not confident I would have received the refund check or complimentary service. I feel corporate was reluctant to compensate for the disrespect and awful customer service only because they did not immediately offer the refund or complimentary service. That was after exchanging various emails. I did receive a refund check but ONLY for the eyebrow service in the amount of $10.00 and I also received a complimentary eyebrow service. Corporate still assumed I would return to the same location but I went to a different location and they were wonderful. Check out their online reviews before going to these places. They charge a high-end price but you risk a low-end service.
