First, thank you for the opportunity to address Ms. [redacted]'s complaint. We regret the experience was not a positive one and understand that many were disappointed about not getting tickets. Unfortunately, the arena only holds 3,000 seats and the demand was obviously much greater. We put a policy in place that no one customer could buy more than 12 tickets and that policy was enforced. In reviewing the sales information, the majority of customers only bought 2-4 tickets, and fewer than ten bought a quantity of 8-10. In addition, tickets were still being sold by phone, walkup and online until early afternoon. We found no evidence of large numbers of tickets being sold to commercial companies, though some small number of individuals sold their tickets to ticket resellers, which is impossible for us to completely stop. While everyone involved with this event was surprised by the demand, we put controls in place prior to tickets going on sale to mitigate the scenario Ms. [redacted] explains.
