Review: I used bottecelli plumbing in july 2013 to clear a tenants drain. They sent out a plumber, 'snaked' the drain and charged me $138. Two months later the drain was clogged again. I called them once again and they snaked the drain again claiming that it was more hair and soap sm that was blocking the drain, only this time they charged me $268 to clear the drain. The bill stated that they again snaked the drain! I asked why the difference in price and all she could tell me was that they changed he pricing structure since the last time I used them! She would not even tell me how long the plumber was there working on it.I paid the bill to avoid any credit issues but feel that I was not only unfairly charged but also charged an excessive amount. They couldn't give me any details other than that their pricing structure has changed and made absolutely no attempt to work with me considering I had the same service done 2 months earlier.Desired Settlement: I feel that this is a repeat repair and would expect any company to stand behind their service for a minimum of 90 days. That being said, in the interest of a good working relationship I was willing to pay for the service again but not at double the rate as the previous service. If the pricing structure has in fact changed then the least they could do is extend the courtesy of applying the same pricing considering the same work was done within a 2 month time period.

This letter is in response to a complaint on our company by a [redacted].

Back on June 26,2013, we were asked to go to the owners rental apt. to snake a drain in the tub. We provided that service to him, and was fairly a quick appt so the customer was

charged the service call of $125.00. For that appt ONLY the tub drain was snaked and did find hair and sm.

We were then called again by the owner to please return as the tub was backing up again. During the conversation he did ask to let him know if it was more hair in the drain,as he would then start charging his tenant. At the time of that visit,we also snaked a sink drain, cleaned a pop up in the sink ,and used acid cleaner in the drains. As you can see,this visit was more involved than the first visit. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for hair in the drain as that is out of our control.

When the owner called me about the bill, l did explain to him that we were now on a straight forward pricing system,and that was the price he was charged. He did not indicate to me that he was unhappy as he paid the bill. I explained to him their was more things done on the second trip versus the first trip. He gave me a credit card for payment and that was the end of the conversation. Had I known how unhappy he was, I would of offered to waive the service fee of the $69.00,but we did spend some time there at the apartment, and again, we cannot control hair and sm issues in a tub or sink drain.

We would be willing to refund him the service fee, but I do feel the charge was more than fair for the work we did.
