Review: When I transferred my Auto and Renter's Insurance policies from Houston, TX to this agency, there was a clerical error in this office and the Renter's insurance policy was not transferred. I now find myself having been the victim of a break-in in my home, resulting in losses totalling $2161.35. The office has told me that they will not honor my claim on the renter's policy. They are not disputing that the error is on their end. [redacted] (I am not sure of her last name) at this office has told me that [redacted], the Staff Assistant at this office left notes that she needed to contact the Houston office to confirm the transfer of the renter's policy. Apparently, [redacted] never followed up and the policy was cancelled due to non-payment of premiums. I have been a State Farm customer for over 20 years, paying them thousands of dollars in premiums. I want them to honor their commitments to me as I have honored my commitments to them.Desired Settlement: Honor your policies! This policy should have been kept in effect, but due to a clerical error on the part of State Farm, the policy was cancelled.

Review: I cancelled my policies with this agency on July *, 2013. They auto-debited my account on July *, 2013 in the amount of $132.33. I have been trying to effect a refund from them since that time. Repeated calls to the agency did not get me the refund that I am owed, so I called the national State **rm offices. I have since been told that a refund in the amount of $73.26 was mailed to me yesterday. I am requesting the remaining $59.07 be refunded as well.

This is the same agency that denied my renter's claim on a burglary in January of 2013 because they claim that I cancelled my renter's policy when it, along with my auto policy was transferred from Houston, Tx in May of 2012. This is despite the fact that I have provided them with documentation from the office in Houston that both policies should have been transferred.

A clerical error on the part of this office resulted in my claim for damages being denied because they cancelled my renter's policy without my knowledge or permission. I filed a Revdex.com complaint in January of 2013 regarding this and never heard anything from either the busisness or the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back!

Hi [redacted] ....I am responding to the above complaint registered against the [redacted] Agency (State Farm Insurance). [redacted] asked me to respond & I am the office manager at the agency .........The complaint was registered by [redacted] & has since been resolved. [redacted] has recently received any refunds owed him. The refund was only delayed as we did not have the exact date needed to cancel [redacted]'s policies. The original request was left after hours as a message & did not indicate the effective date of cancellation. The exact date is important as cancelling a policy incorrectly could have resulted in [redacted] having OMV issues.

Our office called [redacted] to request this information but our call was not returned. When [redacted] called again in July to inquire about his refund, we were able to get the correct date to cancel his policies & process a refund. [redacted],

the agent, has recently spoken with [redacted] & apologized for any inconveniences we may have caused him.

As for the renter's policy from Texas, our records reflect that the Texas renter's policy was cancelled by the Texas State **rm office.

Our office contacted [redacted] on a few occasions to inquire if he wanted a renter's policy in NY. He did not reply to any of our contacts

....We regret that we did not continue to contact [redacted] about the renter's policy & ensure he had the coverage he wanted.
