MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS: Complaint Information: [redacted] Revdex.com Response[redacted] contracted with me in [redacted] to put [redacted] siding on her homeHer first problem with her siding occurred within the warranty period, due to wind damage and was promptly correctedShe made numerous calls regarding wind damage within the first year, once the warranty period expired and I corrected all of the issues at no charge to herThe manufacture only warranties wind damage to 50MPH and many of the damage occurred with wind gusting higher than 50MPH [redacted] failed to mention in her complaint that her [redacted] did some of the damageShe had called to ask if I could make the repairs and I promptly made the repairs again at no charge to her around her heating oil fill tubes replacing the damaged and stained areasRegarding the latest damage to [redacted] sidingIn [redacted] ***, her son had called regarding again pieces damaged due to high windsI had made arrangements with her son to come look at the damage and make any repairsWithin days of the arranged meeting it snowed 9” and the temps were in the 30’sMaking repairs to [redacted] siding under these conditions was not conduciveAfter the weather had cleared, I drove by the house to make an assessment of the damage and upon getting there found the work had already been completedNeither [redacted] nor her son had followed up with me to make the necessary arrangements for the repairsI feel that I made every effort the past years continuing to repair her siding due to wind damage as well as making repairs caused by [redacted] at no additional cost to her and feel that the $she is requesting was more than fulfilled in all the return visitsI have been installing [redacted] siding for over years and all my installation is in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelinesI am not responsible for damages caused by Mother Nature as stating in my contracts and made every effort to make the repairs she continually asked for over the past years at no charge to herI feel that I have gone above and beyond and am also due some consideration when she and her son failed to be honest when they had repairs done by another company at her cost not mine

I am rejecting this response because:the other company who stopped by and asked if I wanted it fixed told me it was not done correctly my house is the only one in the area that has this problem when ever it's windy I was told by the other company that the whole top has to be done over as it was not right at a cost of dollars for materials and labor I feel that MrS*** should be responsible for the repairs as it was not done wrong the first time

I feel that I made every effort the past 4 years continuing to repair her siding due to wind damage as well as making repairs caused by [redacted] at no additional cost to her and feel that the $800 she is requesting was more than fulfilled in all the return visits. I have been installing [redacted] siding for over 20 years and all my installation is in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. I am not responsible for damages caused by Mother Nature as stating in my contracts and made every effort to make the repairs she continually asked for over the past 4 years at no charge to her. I feel that I have gone above and beyond and am also due some consideration when she and her son failed to be honest when they had repairs done by another company at her cost not mine.
