Horrible experience!
The guy that works there makes rude, offensive comments, yells and screams, never talks normal. Very unprofessional. He should not work with people at all and someone should take him to court for offensive comments.

Unempathetic law firm
They made me miss part of my fathers funeral. John Burket is unsympathetic to say the least. He lied during the court case as well. Those who harass others, they have nothing better to do with their life.

On May 7, 201 3 Bruck Law Offices, S,c. received the above file from our client. Bruck Law Offices. S,c. mailed 2 letters to Barry [redacted] on May 7, 2013 and October 6, 20 14. In addition several calls were placed and messages left with no response. On October 7, 2014 a lawsuit was filed....

The summons and complaint was personally served on October 12, 2014.Mr. [redacted] called Bruck Law Offices, S.c. on October 13,2014 and left a message on voice mail for a return call. Bnlck Law Offices, S.c. returned the call the same day and Mr. [redacted] advised Bruck Law Offices, S.c. that he would be filing bankruptcy on this debt unless something could be worked out. Bruck Law Offices, S.C. offered him a stipulation and order for dismissal of the case with no judgement entered based on arrangements to repay the debt.On October 27, 2014. Mr. [redacted] called Bruck Law Offices, S.C. and left a message. Bruck Law Offices, S.C, called him back the same day and left a message on voicemail. We received no response. On Oct 30, 20 15 Bruck Law Offices, S.C. called Mr. [redacted]once again and lef a message regarding the stipulation and his intentions. Mr. [redacted] never returned the call nor did he come in to sign the stipulation. On October 31 , 2015 a default judgement was entered. Later on October 31, 2015 Mr. [redacted] called BruckLaw Offices. S.c. and advised he had decided not to enter the stipulation or pay the bill. He said he would instead be filing bankruptcy on the debt. At that time, he also "ceased" Bruck Law Offices, S.c. from any further contact with him. On October 21 , 2014 a garnishmentwas filed and no further communication occurred until April 16, 2015.On April 16, 2015 at 3:20 pm Mr. [redacted] called Bruck Law Offices, S.c. and left a message to call him back ad vising he received some son of settlement and that he wanted a payoff balance. At 4:43 pm the same day, Brick Law Offices, S.c. called him back and lefta voicemail message. Then at 4:44 pm Mr. [redacted] called back and Attorney Bruck spoke with him. He requested the balance due which was gladly provided to him. He advised that he would be bringing in the balance due on April 21,2015.Mr. [redacted] THEN filed a complaint with the Revdex.com later that same day at 5:26 pm. It is clear from the above that Bruck Law Offices, S.C. attempted to work with Mr. [redacted] in every way possible and that his complaint is absolutely bogus and an attempt to harass.Sincerely,[redacted]

I received court summons that my husband and I were to appear in court July 22,2013. I live in Arizona and my husband was deployed in a combat zone, the complaint was in Wisconsin. A week later I received a notice from the courts that a judgment had been issued. It appears that someone from Bruck had changed our appearance date. I contacted the company who served us the papers and they are willing to testify that the date was July 22 on the Summons. I than tried to call Bruck with no response back. Luckily as my husband is active duty Navy Legal is filing to re-open the case. My Jag representative looked up their complaints and found out this is not the first time this has happened and we will be filing a misconduct complaint with State Attorneys Office as well as ABA. Someone has to stop these people, and luckily my legal representation is free to active duty military. It is shameful that they tried to lie, cheat and steal (yes, one of their own did that)to win a case.

Review: The Bruck Law office was in charge of a debt against me for medical bills, after calling my work and demanding the money in full by the end of that day they garnished my wages and the debt was paid in full 3 years ago. I never received the satisfaction of judgement to clear this from my record. When I called the law office to get the paperwork I needed to clear this up I had to pay them $50 for a copy of something that was never sent in the first place to clear this out of Milwaukee County Courts. The law office filed this in 2 different counties (Brown which I live in) and (Milwaukee which Children's Hospital of Wi is in) I called Bruck Law Office on 11/1/2013 to request another copy to get this cleared from Brown County records and was told they will not give me another copy. These people are very rude and would not accept any sort of payment toward this account before they turned it over to the courts for garnishment.

Consumer

Response:

No I have not heard anything from this company, I ended up calling and begging the Milwaukee County courthouse to re-send me a copy of the records they had so I could forward them to the Brown County court to get this cleared off my record. It costed me another $11.25 to do this, but I now have it taken care of. This Bruck Law office is a JOKE.

Thank you for your help in this matter.

Business

Response:

Prior to the wage garnishment being filed there where efforts made by telephone and mail to collect the debt. There was no response to these efforts so suit was filed then garnishment was issued.

I believe that this complaint should have been lodged three years ago not at this time. I believe her complaint focuses entirely on that issue or her satisfaction of Judgement that she recently contacted our office about.

After completing her wage garnishment in May of 2010 Bruck Law Offices mailed her a notarized Satisfaction of Judgement (SOJ) to her address on file. I would like to note that this is the same address she resides at today. The SOJ was not returned to our offices by the [redacted] and therefore is deemed received.

On September 9th 2013 [redacted] contacted our office inquiring why the Judgment was not showing as satisfied. We advised her that the SOJ was mailed to her in 2010. She advised that she did not receive it. We explained to her that we did not receive the document back from the post office undelivered and therefore it is deemed delivered and that in order to obtain a new notarized SOJ she would need to send in a $50.00 money order. a this point she became quite agitated and she terminated the phone call. Mrs. Rybick then sent in a personal check for $50.00 which we returned to her along with a letter requesting certified funds for the document.

Upon receipt of a money order for $50.00 we mail her a new SOJ I have attached the instruction page that indicates what needs to be done in order to file the document in

multiple counties for cases such as hers. If she failed to follow those instructions, that is something that is beyond my control.

We have followed all proper procedures according to the law in issuing and reissuing the SOJ to be filed in Milwaukee County.

Response:

On September 9, 2013 [redacted] contacted our office inquiring why the Judgement was not showing as satisfied. We advised her that the SOJ was mailed to her in 2010 and was accompanied by instruction on how to file it with the Clerk or Court. When she advised us that she did not receive it we explained to her that we did not receive the document back from the post office undelivered and therefore it is deemed delivered and that in order to obtain a new notarized SOJ she would need to send in a $50.00 money order. At this point she became quite agitated and she terminated the phone call. [redacted] then sent in a personal check for $50.00 which we returned to her along with a letter requesting certified funds for the document. Please be advised that a copy of the SOJ would not have yielded the desired result as the clerk of court would not have accepted anything other than all original notarized SOJ.

Regarding the response [redacted] received to her email request. The response read that the email is for clients of Bruck law Offices and to please contact us via telephone.

[redacted] is not a customer nor client of Bruek Law Offices. Please call me with any questions. Thank You

Rude and inconsiderate law office; they are the definition of the sleazy attorneys you see on late night television. They should be ashamed of how they treat people; but they are lawyers; they don't care.

Review: In 2012 I was summoned to court for a small claims court case for monies owed to Bielinski Property Management after I moved out of their apartment. I was unable to attend the court date, and never received anything further regarding this. I never received a bill, I never received a phone call from this law office, I never received a judgement from the court. Not only that, but this court case was never reopened in only my name while the first was in mine and my mother's. Up until October of 2013, I had no idea that I had an outstanding balance. I submitted to the state of Wisconsin my application for my life and health insurance licenses. I received a letter from the commissioner regarding a balance owed to Bielinski, which is now being taken care of by Bruck Law Office. Due to my work hours, I was unable to get in contact via phone, so I sent an email asking if I could set up some kind of payment plan and have documentation stating such. Nicolas Smith told me that they would not be able to set up a payment plan with the amount of money I was able to pay per month. He then told me that even if we were to set up a payment plan, he would not be able to provide me with documentation stating that we have a payment plan in place. He told me that I could send their office money every month via check if I wished, otherwise I would need to pay my balance in full to receive any paperwork from them. Shortly after this, I received a fax at work from [redacted], a paralegal at Bruck Law Offices, asking for employment verification which my boss chose not to fill out. I called [redacted] and asked him if this needed to get filled out, and he said no. He would just like it to be filled out so he can keep his records updated. He then told me that he "did research" to find out where I work because this information was not provided to him. He was extremely rude to me on the phone. He insinuated that I lied about keeping my contact information up to date when I moved, when I did, and my phone number has not changed since 2009. I then sent an email to [redacted], whom I corresponded with regarding the payment plan, and asked that they stopped sending things to my work fax. Then I received a second fax, and finally a "Sorry We Missed You" note from the post office about certified mail that Bruck is trying to send me. This is my place of employment. There is absolutely NO reason for this law office to continually send things to my place of employment. My boss chose not to fill out a form that is not needed, so there is no need to keep sending them. I am also upset that I never knew I had a balance with this law office. When I told them that I never received a letter from them, I was told by [redacted] that their job isn't to chase people down for money -- all of this was on a recorded line, by the way. He informed me of such when he answered my call. Any time that I've had an account in collections, I am constantly reached out to. This paralegal [redacted] has also never contacted any other employer that I have worked for regarding this. And I still have not received anything via mail from them. I assume he can find my address since he was able to "do research" to find out where I work.Desired Settlement: I want this office to stop contacting me at work. I have asked them nicely, and said I would report them if it continued. I would love to have my debt cleared since they couldn't even send me a letter telling me that I owe them money. If that isn't possible, then I want a payment plan in writing. I am not comfortable sending random checks every month to this company after their unprofessional behavior thus far. How will I know that my account is being credited? Thank you.

Response:

Ms. [redacted] was served with an authenticated summons and complaint for her court date. Judgment was entered against her in the amount of $2255.50 on October 9th 2012 . She was served the documenls by process on September 9th 2012. She signed for the documents herself. I have attached all of the documents. She failed to appear at the time and date and judgment was subsequently entered. Regarding her comment about the case being reopened in only her name I have no idea what she means. Her mother was a co-defendant in the case and she advised us that she had little to no contact with [redacted] Her mother reached a settlement in this mailer and as such no judgement was entered against her. [redacted] balance was adjusted to reflect the monies received from her co-defendant. It is the courts standard procedure to mail a notice of entry of judgement to the defendant and I can't speak as to whether they, did or did not.

I have been in contact with Bruck Law Office regarding a debt. We were set-up on a payment plan, and could not afford the payments that were essentially forced on us to pay. I filed a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. One of the "attorneys" at their office proceeded to contact me after the filing via email and claimed that the circuit court is above a federal bankruptcy judge, and I would not be able to hide under bankruptcy and she would garnish me anyways, unless I immediately gave her $1000 a month until it was paid off. This is in direct violation of the automatic stay that bankruptcy provides, forcing collectors to immediately halt all collections on debts once a bankruptcy has been filed. I got my attorney involved, and they have essentially told her to back off, but her contacting me in the first place after she knew the chapter 13 was filed is a violation of federal law. This lawfirm has been making me life a living hell for months, and will violate federal law to get their money. I have a feeling I have not seen the last of them, and would not be surprised if they ignore the automatic stay and file something anyways, which will result in sanction motions. They think they are above the law.

Review: Communication with Bruck Law Office started with a voice messsage from a Process Server. I returned the call and [redacted]?, the Process server told me he had been attempting to contact me for several weeks, to only be told that I was on vacation, at work, or would return home later. This information was given to [redacted], allegedly by persons who lived in a home I moved from in 2005. We resolved that he was attempting to serve me papers for an unpaid medical bill through Froedert Hospital. I gave [redacted], my home address and agreed to a time for him to deliver these papers on a Sunday morning.

These papers did not include a billing statement for the supposed unpaid bill. So, I continued my day that Sunday trying to figure out one, why did the clinic bill me at an address that I had not lived in since 2005, why had I not heard from the billing department requesting a payment. I was totally confused as to why I was being sued for services I never received a statement.

I contacted Bruck Law office to ask why were they using that address, and was told that is the address given from the clinic. Odd, as the address the doctor used for billing, which was promptly paid, was my PO BOX used for everything. I was also told the clinic used the same billing address as the diagnostic center.

I was asked if I knew that I owed this amount and that I had no choice, but to pay and had attorney fees that I was responsible for. I went to court hoping to be presented with a copy of the billing statement to prove I was billed and the attorney for Bruck Law offices was unprepared. We then had to schedule a second court date, giving the lawyer an opportunity to provide a copy of the actual billing statement to me. I received in the mail a form that was typed on with the same amounts filed in the suit, which clearly includes additional fees.

I contacted bruck law offices again to ask where there original statement was and was told that the hospital does not keep such records for more than a year and was not able to provide a copy of the original statement. I find that hard to believe in this day and age, especially a medical facitility not have an electronic or digital record of this statement. I was also told I would be charged additional fees if I prolonged this payment and did not resolve before the second court date.

I will pay the bill, if I am shown an actual statement of billing.Desired Settlement: I would like a copy of the original billing statement, including the address mailed to. Also, I believe if this is an unpaid bill for services that I received, I should only be held responsible for the amount of the service, not the attorney fees as a result of a billing departments negligence to mail this alleged statement to my current mailing address.

Response:

This letter is in response to yours of August 17, 2015 regarding complaint ID [redacted]. First, it is my position that Ms. Archic-Jordan's complaint is not properly brought against Bruck Law Offices, S.C. Ms. [redacted] is not a customer or clicnt of Bruck Law Offices, S.C. Ful1hennore. the majority of Ms. [redacted]'s complaint appears to relate to her belief that she never received an original billing statement for the balance due. This is a dispute with the medical facility, not our law office. Finally, only the circuit courts of Wisconsin have the authority to grant or deny court costs to a party, including statutory attorney fees. Nonetheless, I dispute those portions of Ms. [redacted] complaint that relate: to Bruck Law Offices, S.C.On or about March 15, 2015, our client referred Ms. [redacted]'s account to our office. The account included an address from Ms. [redacted], but no phone number. On March 19, a letter was mailed to Ms. [redacted] at the address provided by our client. Our office attempted to find a personal phone number to contact Ms. [redacted] via telephone but was unable to do so. As of May 21,2015, our office had not received mail return from the March 19 letter. We also did not find a different or more current address for Ms. [redacted] Therefore, we believed we had the most current address for Ms. [redacted]At the request of our client, a small claims suit was filed against Ms. [redacted] Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes. court costs are owed to the plaintiff as soon as they are incurred. Accordingly, Ms. [redacted] was correctly informed she would be responsible for court costs if she owed the principal balance claimed due to our client. The initial return date for small claims court is not for the presentation of evidence or documents but to determine if there is a dispute claimed by the defendant. As such, Bruck Law Offices, S.C. was not "unprepared" when it did not have specific documentation available to give Ms. [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] appeared at the initial return date and disputed the balance due. The court commissioner adjourned the case and ordered our office to provide documentation supporting the balance claimed. The required documents were mailed to Ms. [redacted] on or about June 17,2015. Ms. [redacted] confirmed receipt of the mailed documents on June 26, 2015, though she indicated she was unhappy with the format.Ms. [redacted] has requested copies of the original billing statements that were mailed by our client. As previously stated, this is a dispute with the medical facility, not our office. While Ms. [redacted] may find it hard to believe, our client informed us that they do not keep actulal copies of the billing statements that are sent and, as such, cannot provide them to Ms. [redacted]. When our office told Ms. [redacted] that was the case, we were accurately relaying the information that was provided by our client.Bruck Law Offices, treats all individuals with respect. Because of the nature of our business, we are often met with conflict and those who disagree with our position.Nevertheless, our staff handles those occasions with the utmost professionalism. Ms. [redacted]'s situation has not been handled any differently. Thank you for considering my response.Sincerely,[redacted]
