Hi ***,The Agent from another real estate company that told you we never had rights to the listing is simply mistakenOur agents would not take their time to show an apartment that we have no rights to, put in the effort with paperwork and then to give back funds that you put down for depositYou allege that you were told Bruma Realty is a scam, why would a scammer refund someones money? Sometimes agents from competing agency's make nonfactual statements and we have no control over thatOur firm has brokered numerous apartment rentals in this building. As far as the hard inquiry, the process usually is that when we get an application we submit it it to the management company, they then run the credit and prepare it for the Landlords reviewWe definitely do not want someone to get a hard inquiry on their report for no reasonThe application was submitted according to procedure, unfortunately the landlord was not satisfied with the paperwork and chose to decline (I understand that there was a back and forth about ready date, ultimately the landlord chose to decline the application)As far as removing such an inquiry from your report we were instructed by Experian that the consumer, would have to reach out to them to possibly get this done. My complaint was never that I was denied the apartment. In fact, I would have not filed a complain had that been the case. My issue is that I was told from [redacted] that BRUma Realty never had rights to rent the apartment in which I applied for. In addition to the unprofessional practices of the organization as a whole. Also, the credit inquiry has not been removed from my credit report as requested.
