We have tried several times to contact this customer and have not been able to reach him. He wanted to purchase his won pump and not have us get it, The tech told him what kind of pump to get, but once at the supply house he wanted to get a cheaper pump and try to make it fit, as per his request my...

techs attempted to install the pump that he had purchased but it would not fit. We got the correct pump that he needed and installed it. The pump he purchased cannot be returned to the store where he purchased it because it had been opened. He wants us to purchase back this pump, we have no use for an unsealed pump for resale and told him we would not like to purchase the pump. I am sorry he is out money for a pump, but this was a pump he bought on his own and not the pump he was told he needed for his well. We do not buy/sell or install used pumps as this would not be right to our customers.

There have been no missed calls, or voice mails on my business phone, nor my cell.The tech ([redacted]) said that he could pick up the pump, or I could do so myself. I told him that I would pick up the pump. He suggested not using [redacted] or [redacted] because their pumps were cheaper, but inferior. He suggested [redacted] and gave specs as to the pump needed. He called me to let me know that it was an incorrect pump. He said that it might still work and attempted it. Not once did I suggest, or ask that he try to install an incorrect pump.When finished with the job, [redacted] made sure that I knew he could not return the pump because I had purchased it. He let me know that the incorrect pump was back in the box for me to return myself. This would to show that he saw no problem with returning it. When [redacted] finally returned my call on 1/21 he was surprised that [redacted] wouldn't take it back. He then told me to "hang on to my receipt, and that he would have to pass this on to his boss." This is also the last communication with Brummett's until their response of today.Brumett's stated that they have unsucessfully tried to contact me. This makes it impossible for them to have communicated that they will not reimburse me for the pump that the tech attempted to use.My claims still stands that Brummett's attempted to put in an improper pump. I should not be responsible for a trained plumber's mistake.As an aside, I do take offense at Brummett's claim that I "changed my mind to buy a cheaper pump to make it fit." I could have bought a cheaper pump at a competitor, but I chose to use the advice of a trained professional. I'm not a plumber and had only the specs given to me by [redacted] which is what I bought.Regards,[redacted]Regards,[redacted]
