This past week the Manager of our Vista Store David G*** has contacted our customer to review what happened I understand that the customer is currently out of town for a few days (or was) and we will be following up with him David told me that they have talked on the phone

On 7/05/2016 (work order #77508) we did a brake job on a 2010 GMC for [redacted] as part of the brake job we replaced the axle seals.  The vehicle came back to us on 9/01/2016 with leaking seals.  We performed a replacement under warranty for no charge (work order #[redacted])....

At the time we determined that there were problems with the axle that caused the bearings to fail.  The customer was told at this time that there were problems with the axle and it should be replaced. On 8/01/2017 the customer came in with a leaking bearing seals and demanded a repair on the spot.  Unable to do it immediately we made an appointment for 8/08/2017 (Work order #[redacted]) to repair the seals under warranty as a matter of customer service satisfaction, even though the axles cause the problem... at that time we also performed an Oil Change.  Our technician put the proper amount of oil required as per the specification in our catalog.  He also checked the fluid level on the Oil dipstick to be sure it was at the proper level.  [redacted] called to tell us that he had taken his vehicle to [redacted] for engine problems immediately after we had worked on it.The following is what our Manger learned from [redacted] about the Vehicle:The vehicle was brought into [redacted] GMC for check engine light and misfires. The service department cleared the codes and then drove the vehicle, it continued to have issues. The service department recommended not to drive the vehicle but the customer declined and drove the vehicle for the weekend and said he would take it back to the shop Bruneel Point S Fairview, where he had the oil change service. The service department drained oil to correct amount and the customer left. The customer never showed up to Bruneel Point S Fairview. The customer returned the vehicle to [redacted] GMC and they found oil to be overfilled once again. The customer had a new engine installed in the vehicle. The service adviser, [redacted] said that it was not likely that excess engine oil caused the failureMr. [redacted] has failed to return all of our manager Mitch B[redacted] calls.  And we have responded to every email and phone call from Mr. [redacted].  We have provided service beyond what many repair places would do -- repair the seals yet an additional time for no charge when we have explained to the customer why they failed.  If we had in fact put in 1.5 quarts of oil too much it would not have caused the engine to fail after 20 miles. the representatives of [redacted] indicated to us that the nature of engine failure was not related to oil pressure -- as far as they had diagnosed.  They said the customer didn't want to find out more about why the engine had failed.  It is possible that coolant leaked into the oil system through worn out or failed engine gaskets.

I am rejecting this response because:  this shady company {BRUNEEL POINT S}   ADAMANTLY REFUSES TO PROVIDE INSURANCE INFORMATION. Let them do the research. BRUNEEL POINT S doesn't get to decide who files a claim. BRUNEEL POINT S ruined my truck, and now refuses to accept any responsibility. AVOID BRUNEEL POINT S. SHADY SHADY SHADY.

[redacted], This is in response to the [redacted] complaint submitted on 8/5/2015 , #[redacted]. After I discussed this situation with [redacted] and after investigating with our staff involved and checking our documentation,  I believe this comes down to only a miscommunication problem....

We obviously were not on the same page with [redacted]. We did fall down in some of our standard procedures in that instance and have modified some procedures to insure better communication the next time. I offered [redacted] a couple of options to help solve the situation including a refund of the full invoice amount. [redacted] felt comfortable with the refund amount, at this time,  and we disbursed a check to him the same day. Please feel free to contact me at any time should you have any questions. Thank you, [redacted]Bruneel Tire FactoriesRetail Stores Operations Director[redacted]
